    Which output of the welder did you use? DC or AC?
    Has the battery been permanently good?

    Used to do this on heavy equipment and a Miller big 40 and had no trouble. Did a car battery with a Miller bobcat and in short order the battery blew like a bomb.

      I can imagine! If any spark hits that hydrogen gas expelling it would be trouble

      @@RedBanksClassics I didn't cause a spark but t it may have sparked internally by a short or melted wire. I think I saw something about not doing it with a bobcat but not sure. Don't understand why. Just a warning cause I know there are a lot of the Bobcats around. Should be considered as a bomb with any welder to be safe.

    Would be great to use an actual load tester on it, it seemed to crank real good though... best days to you all 👍

      It works remarkable well. I've tried the Epsom salt before but never had this good of results

      Yessir one of those old cracker boxes be good! I start out at 40 amps. Let it charge for 5 mins, then wait 15 mins for cool down, then crank it up to 65 amps and charge again for 5 mins.if it's bubbling it's working. But If you have plates shorted inside the battery it won't desulphate

    What's the actual output voltage of the welder....not the amps?

    • @khammarsamia7214
      @khammarsamia7214 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's between 20 and 18v

      Voltage will vary with the amps dialed in on the welder and the internal resistance of the battery ( V=IxR ohm's law)

      @@jonathanlawson4667 i know its an old comment string but you're not completely wrong😂-but sometimes hanging out with that drunk coke-snorting uncle can be a blast (ps, i have yet to try this myself but Ive seen a few people do this with good results. Then again a new battery is 100 bucks and will last years if you take care of it, so....not totally sure if it's worth the time)

    Would have had the same result by just filling the dried up cells and recharging it, at least 3 of the cells were dry. Wow..the car starts after charging the battery. Amazing.... duh.

      Battery would not take a charge prior to this........duh

      You're crazy, Crazy. The sulphation s when the acid comes out of solution and sticks to the plates, merely putting water in won't put that back in solution. and you will end up with an extemely week solution. The boiling puts it solution. Back to your video games.......duh duh.
