You only ever really need 2 channels of pre-amps but having more always helps have everything wired. And this audient unit has the best pres for the price and ease of use.
i love the sound of those old schoool live break beats. which kick, snare ,hi hat, and cymbal would you suggest me to get, thats gonna be a great quality? you sound quality is amazing and so is the playing brother!
Better than the Focusrite OctoPre? Been looking at both & always felt like since my studio is already powered by a Focusrite 18i8-3g I should probably go with the OctoPre
@@JayfkProductions876 even if it is better it's only going to be better by a very marginal difference. As many other TH-camrs have stated, at this point you can pretty much buy any interface and get good results. If you're more familiar with the focusrite stuff you might as well stick with that unless you find something lacking
Congratulations
Thanks Bro
Sweet set up bro looks very efficient
3:15 - so cool result !
Thanks i appreciate it!
🔥 It's all coming together!
Where did you get the mic stand/holders that are on your upright piano? I can't find them anywhere and they're exactly what I need! Thanks!
They are gator brand i just found them on amazon under clamps
Would really love a link if possible, cannot find them anywhere!? Thanks!
bro... I subscribed because you're using a handheld mic
Haha Best handheld mic on the market bro
could you also make a video of how you record your drums
Yeah i can do that, for that one i just did a single overhead mic with rc-20 plugin

Honestly you can you any kind of kit! this is a trash kit , luckly in the studio you can use so many tricks to get the sound you want.
Have you heard anything about the audient units smoking?? I’m looking into getting 16 channels of Audient but I’m concerned about that.
No I havent actually. Audients units are very stable. We've had a asp at a different studio for about 6-7 years and its solid.
Cool video! Thanks. Subscribed! What video camera you use? Picture is very good also
Thank you! it a sony a7iv with 14mm lens
@@ju1ceaudio Thanks!
thanks homey! concise!
Thanks Bro!
what snare is that?
I dont know some random cheap pearl
bro asp 800 is also great for vocal
its overall a great pre amp
I think it's great that you are using organic instruments. Enjoy your new quality pre's :)
Thanks bro! Yup I am already.
"highest quality" not including the Neve 1073 OPX or the Audient ASP 880!
Neves are great but one pre cost this whole unit haha
@@ju1ceaudio right, so is this about cost or quality?
Well the quality is subjective after these pres, it more just different flavor tbh.
From everything I've seen and read, the 880 is the best due to better clocking.
