What I enjoyed about your video is that you call it a DIY video and you don't need a workshop full of expensive tools to make it.
So far I watched half a dozen videos to make router tables and with the exception of yours they all have huge workshops and thousands of dollars worth of tools.
If I had thousands of dollars worth of tools I probably wouldn't be watching DIY stuff!
    Thanks again

Thanks Izzy. You proved that one doesn't need a fancy faceplate, fancier fence and most fancy tracks to make a router do what you want !!

    Hi Izzy
Greetings from Northern Ireland. I just love your videos. I love that your videos are real, not fanboy bullish!t for Red tools or Yellow tools. It is great to see stuff that real world hobbyists can do and afford.
Also that you can actually do the stuff for real and not just talk about it. Keep it going. Love it !

Recently I've watched loads of DIY router tables; this is the first I've seen with the swinging fence rather than a parallel fence. This looks so much easier to set up. I'll watch it again a few times as I feel I'm missing something compared with all the other parallel fences !!! It's certainly a novel idea. Cheers Izzy.

My boss showed up with his little router and said yeah I've got to router table but this one doesn't go to it and you know you can hand round over everything anyways. Only took me 20 minutes to make a decent version of it and it worked well and I'm taking it home with me

Very cool Izzy. My only hack would be to make the fence base out of 3/4 stock or two layers of 1/2” so you can hold the “faces” up 1/8” or so off the table surface as a sawdust relief. Been doing that on all my shopmade stuff - it eliminated the problem of sawdust buildup wrecking my cuts.
