  • Today I found some lovely turn of the century framed art prints,
    a pair of 1920's lamps to restore and a box of random uranium
    glass from the 1930's. Thanks for thrifting along with me.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    My interest is buying and selling antiques and vintage items
    mostly from the 1920's into the mid 1960's. Thank you for watching.

    Hi Scott, Jocelyn from CLL just did a live video and mentioned that Rey Rey, the sweet kitty from Thunderbird Salvage was hit by a car and is in need of multiple surgeries. Maybe you could share the go fund me on an upcoming video. I know there's lots of cat fans out here, please keep this sweet kitty in your thoughts and prayers. gf.me/u/yxjcuj

    I’m Dutch, and we call uranium glass ‘Annagroen’, after the wife of Josef Riedel, the man who from around 1830 was the first to manufacture uranium glass on an industrial scale. Josef was a cousin of Bohemian glass maker Franz Xaver Anton Riedel who had, in the early eighteen hundreds, pioneered this way of coloring glass.

    So jealous. I cannot get the voice overs onto my videos figured out and you can add music! I can't seem to add two sections of voice over in one video or get rid of the video's original sound and you can add video inserts. What on earth program are you using?
    I love seeing you save old glass. I do not know glassware so tend to leave it there but I have snagged a few pieces as they were too lovely to leave there. Not sure what to do with them now but I will figure it out.

    You got me choking on my smoky air here!---I've never known someone who made cornbread in one of those things. I'm guessing it's a regional thing?!---I collect the Roulette pattern. I used to snap up ANY green, but finally had to stop, focus, concentrated on that pattern after a friend gave me her collection.---I also look for the Lefton Poinsettia set (not easy to find, so think of me if YOU run across any!).---And, lastly, flashed glass with a distinctive shape, or a specially engraved name/date/sentiment. I have so many that I've had to 'focus' instead of buy just anything!
