The rowdyruff boys episode was something! I really thought the girls were beaten or there was no way that they could beat them because they were just as strong as the powerpuff girls! That’s what made that episode sooooo good.

I think you severely underestimate how much 90s kids would get the references in the Beat-Alls episode, especially since a lot of kids probably had parents or grandparents that listened to the Beatles. Even as a kid who never really listened to the Beatles, I caught a good deal of the references.

The Powerpuff Girls was the pinnacle of pop culture. Thats why it was an incredible cartoon. If they ever decide to bring this show back to life. They better bring back pop culture references, comic book influence, and the comedy that doesnt take itself too seriously.

There was also the age up episode with them as teenagers which you showed a brief clip of but didn't talk about the episode. Not sure what is wrong with the narrator, but PPG are definitely the embodiment of plot armor. Citiesville, although bad, showed that PPG aren't very smart and Townsville has UNILIMITED budget for reconstruction of all the destructions.
