Samantha's Glassware was made by mosser glass. I have found child sized tumblers and a punch set in the exact same pattern. Fun things!
Oh yeah that’s right! I’m so tempted to get the full scale version - it’s so nicely made!
I have white clothing items for various dolls including PC AG that had yellowed with "rust" spots (how ? I have no idea). I soaked and rinsed in cold water, hot water may set the stain while gently agitating in oxi-clean. Then air dry on towels and they came out beautifully. JoANN sells a small low heat iron that works nicely on more delicates and tiny areas like collars. Nice haul, rather spend money on those items instead of the new Disney/AG colabs.

I’ve always wanted Samantha’s Christmas Music Box because I collect music boxes and had started my collection as a child but never could really get it because it was associated with American Girl dolls and girls and dolls were not meant for boys. I remember looking at a catalog in a library before and admiring the accessories for each doll because they were so detailed and much more interesting that what boys were expected to play with.
When you do move, beware of scam moving companies! There are tons out there so definitely stick with a national company you are familiar with or someone you know has used, or move your valuables yourself. My husband owns a local moving company and he hears about scam movers all the time 😔☹️ love your videos and love seeing your collection! ❤
I did buy my daughter her first AG doll around 1993. It was Samantha because my daughter has dark hair and I also purchased the birthday table and tea set along with her birthday dress. It was beautiful in the catalog. And yes, I left the party treats in some tissue paper and it stuck to the tops of them. Enjoyed the video.

i recently bought a big lot of 1986 samantha stuff too! not anywhere near the condition but my childhood samantha was missing somethings and it was a good deal especially since it included the trunk (some reason i had mollys trunk as a kid not samantha’s). the white body that came with it unfortunately was improperly packed and her eyes got damaged in shipping but i sold her to a collector who refurbed her (im not interested in collecting the vintage dolls since my nostalgia period is 2003-6)! when i get home ill have to check if the clara doll has that lace pattern!
also i washed my like 2006 ver of lacy whites with oxi clean and it came out great no damage, but i dont know if it’s constructed differently.
I might try oxiclean! The biggest problem it’s given me is washing the text off the tags. I might try dabbing instead of soaking 🤔
Your extensive knowledge on every product and when it came out and the history never doesn’t impress me. I could get anything and I’m not thinking that deep about it and maybe it be fun to study cuz it’s truly a crash course class hearing you talk! Glad you found such interesting finds 😊

Samantha is one of my favorite historicals so I loved getting to watch a haul of just Samantha goodness 🥰 Yes, that Lemonade set was worth the wait - I don’t collect the original run items (I just collect them as I see ‘‘em regardless of release year) but even I can see that set is just gorgeous. Your videos are my new guilty pleasure! I’ve heard you reference doll FB groups a few times. Could you share the link to them? Also would you consider doing a Bitty Baby video? That’s what I started out with as a kid and as far as I can tell there are almost no videos on them!
I love it! The one FB group I mention the most is a private hidden one that almost never accepts new members (which I really dislike - it’s too exclusive). It’s called The Vintage Corner, but they almost never accept new members 😞 There are some good public ones, so I suggest joining a bunch of them and seeing which ones have the right vibe for you. Once I complete my Baby collection, I’m gonna do a full collection tour of all the first edition stuff!

This was a fun haul to watch! The red dress is adorable and that lemonade set is precious! Nice that you got originals. I used to get the catalogs and I wish I bought Samantha yrs ago. Was busy raising my two kids and my daughter was more into Barbie dolls in the 80’s. Thank you for sharing this nice haul 😊

I randomly have a Nellie right now, but she’s just a project doll that I will probably sell. I want to get a mint Nellie again because I regret selling the one I had. I don’t love Emily, but I might still get her. I was thinking about customizing a felicity to look like her so that the doll would have an older Pleasant Company look to her. We’ll see lol. If I find great deals on the best friends stuff, I will probably get it, especially since I’m downsizing my Barbie collection until prices come down
@@idreamofjonny Nellie I think would be easy enough to get. I feel like I see her and her accessories often enough. It seems if you have things to sell for Barbie now is the time to do it. I sold probably half my collection? At least for silkstones, since there seems to be a bit of scarcity you sort of determine the price. The market is pretty out of whack. I do think though it would be hard to get the rarer dolls back at least for a while. I have been having an easier time getting integrity items over some more classic Barbie fashion model collection.

I'm a Big AG Samantha fan.I couldn't even sit still watching all ù found & the shape it was still,still ìn 😱.If I ever get my hands on just ¹ of those item's I must say I think I would just like lose my mind. Wow! Great items! I have a pail that I am trying to research. Maybe you know what it goes to? Pleasant company , made in Taiwan. Silver metal pail with handle, looks like Addy’s lunch pail but is slightly wider at top than bottom. Also Addy’s pail has an extra metal pierce where the handle is attached, mine doesn’t. Any ideas?
I live in South Jersey. I know where that is. I wonder if she still lives there. I keep my receipts too.
