Thank you so much for sharing your collection. If you are a psychopath, we need more psychopaths! You are documenting an era of dolls/toys that are a part of so many people's lives. I didn't get into AG until just a few years ago but I am thoroughly enjoying them. Your attention to detail has educated me on what to be on the look out for. Thanks again for sharing.
Oh Jonny! Love how you have each displayed ! I’ve started an Addy collection- Oh Boy! It can get expensive and at times disappointing..Especially when described as very good or mint & then you get the item… animal hair, a crack, a stain… I’m learning which sellers are true collectors or knowledgeable about what they are selling,honest and have preserved the items well. Glad I found your channel!

So glad you posted this video because I got a first edition Addy and didn’t know who the other clothes and shoes were from in the box .Turns out they belong to Samantha and Molly 🐣.

When you move and are ready to display your collection (hope you have tons more shelf space) while opening the boxes it will be like a Holiday. After not seeing them for a while you'll appreciate everything more and all of your efforts in collecting them!
It has seriously been SO long at this point! I lost my shelving hardware so I still can't put the display back up yet! I'm going to be opening boxes like "Who tf is this?"

I enjoy this channel so much. It came up in my recommends and I started working through past videos. I don’t collect AG (aside for the odd piece that works for my SD sized BJD collection), but I can relate so much because like you, I am a collector. I know the passion of searching things out, and the joy of getting and displaying finds.
I find the history of the company particularly interesting, as well as the changes throughout the years. Looking forward to seeing the new set-up after the move.

I loooooove the BJD world, but I know better than to buy one because I wouldn't be able to stop haha. I would love to maybe at least get a doll by the Popovy sisters one day.

Beautiful collection! I totally agree with you about Samantha and Molly being my favorites. I also agree that I am (still) obsessed with the catalog and early items. I too grew up in a small Southern town and dreamed over the catalogs!

On your Molly dreamer shelf, with the Christmas stocking stuff, what outfits are they both wearing?? I don't remember them.

1. Yep, same hair color! 2. They're outfits I put together. The blue sweater is just her Meet sweater on backwards. The jeans are from the Blue Jeans Basics set from 1995 and the jean shorts are the overalls from the Earth Day Outfit. Boots are from the Blue Ribbon riding set and the brown shoes are her oxfords!

I did not know this about Samantha...I thought she always had dark brown hair. Actually glad they changed it to a darker shade. I've only ever thought of Molly as having the lighter shade. Don't know how I missed this in Mom's older catalogs. What year did they darken her hair??

I have a complete original white pleasant company Our New Baby complete collection set still in shipper boxes. There are two boxes as the basket was shipped separate. My one and only Samantha is from 2004 my 2nd doll I think I have a tlc Samantha doll from thrift store so I don't know what to do with her. I need to send her in or rewig her or something

Yeah, she wrote all 6 of Molly’s. That was the first doll she wrote for. Kirsten and Samantha had different authors until she later took over Samantha.
Also this should bring property value up, un theory but they don't get it 😅
