Whether you like Axl or not, one has to admit he gave it his all for AC/DC. If you don’t like his singing that’s fine, but he tried his very best and that’s all I can ask of him.
I saw you comment on another video about best digital cameras for concerts from about a year ago when you said you were shooting with the sony HX20V...is that what this is shot with? If not can you tell me what you're using? I'm looking for something for hard rock/metal arena shows. Great videos!
Yes, I still use the same camera. I believe it is a 2012 model but not positive. I was about to buy an updated Sony with an even better zoom, but I read in a forum the HX20V is still one of the best for concerts.
Thanks for the response! I read much of the same, that the 50 and 60 sound got worse, but then saw folks say it improved with the HX80, but couldn't find any actual concert clips filmed with it. I needed something quick that I know would be delivered on time, so I ordered the HX80V on Amazon Monday to bring to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame tomorrow which should be a decent test across a good range of music styles from quieter folk Joan Baez Folk to Pearl Jam / Journey / ELO Arena rock, hell maybe even Hip Hop if Snoop does some Tupac covers after his induction speech. Fingers crossed it won't be blown out, but if so I'll return it. I want something good for Metallica next month and hearing the sound on your video of AC/DC, I figured volume wise that's probably on par. I'll know soon enough. I'll have videos posted Saturday or Sunday of what I get tomorrow if you want to check out how the HX80 handles things. Thanks again!
Yeah, I look forward to checking it out. A couple tips I can give you: A) Bring two batteries fully charged. B) Use a very large memory card (I use a 64 gig). C) Make sure you have the video quality on your desired setting. D) If security is telling people not to record, don't waste your chance on a performance you don't care about at the HOF. Wait for a performer you really want the footage for. E) Don't sing along, and try to keep the camera steady. What you see through the view finder is what you will have to watch!
this is insane
Axl is alien.....

Axl luego de cantar con AC/DC se convurtio en mikey Mouse.
