Let's see how The Historic OTIS Elevators at 70 Woodfin Place in Asheville are doing in 2023

(October 2023) These amazing elevators have been shown some love. Fresh coats of paint. Well maintained. They are amazing. I will say that the newer one does run very well. The gated one has always been kinda noisy. A huge thumbs up to the owner of the building for allowing these beauties to live on.

I remember the 2015 video of this place. If you jump in the elevator, it would freeze up. This building seems to have a lot of history. The gated one looks very interesting and looks fresh now.

Definitely could tell the down relay on the older Otis got replaced. It got A LOT quieter.
