NO MINT MARK ! How To Know If It's Rare & Valuable Buy Coins From Us: portsmouthcoinshop.com/ Coin Value App: coinauctionshelp.com/coincollectingapps/ Mint Error App: errorcoins.coinauctionshelp.com/wordpress/
Internet is full of "1944 cent NO MINT MARK!" ads fishing for some uninformed sucker to pay $800, $1200, or even $2000 for their "rarity". I answered one of these sellers on eBay and told him I just found 40 of them in my penny jar, and offered to sell them to him for half the price he was asking -- told him he would be rich! Never heard back, of course.
I've been sitting on a Ab Lincoln 1915 + 1945 no mark and a Dime 1965 no mark for 25 years now, not knowing anything about them because I'm not American, was handed down from my dad, handed down to him from my grandmother who started collecting in 1925, 98 years of not understanding it's future scarcity, up until today. Thank you!
Playing the "not mint errors" video on my TV right now. And just wanted to thank you because it's so hard to tell sometimes because I've seen videos that are mint errors that I would've assumed weren't. I'm only trying to make some extra money right now and since I had a lot of older ones and having randomly seen a video about valuable coins I would sell them so they go to people who will appreciate them and be custodian for the historical aspect. I'm ashamed to say I've vacuumed up and tossed them. I don't want to misrepresent anything but also need to maximize my profit. Someone on eBay suggested you to me and grateful ❤ look forward to watching this one too.
Just got to the end and I'd love to see the suggestion of separate by damage type. Also wondering if there could be a compare and contrast to legit mint errors with damaged coins that aren't obvious. You aren't boring fyi. No sensationalism or gimmicks make you seem more trustworthy.. for what it's worth. Thank u
I have the 1971 proof set, I'm not a coin collector yet, but I bought years ago because that's the year I was born . Thanks for another great video. I enjoyed it!
Thank you! I normally stay away from scam/hype errors and was wondering why some of the coin groups recently have a lot of questions on common philly coins
Good Afternoon Daniel!🥤 Great, informative video!!! I appreciate so much how you stick with the subject of numismatics! Sets with the coins in question are astronomically expensive as far as I know!!😱😵💫
I have a 85 penny that does not have a mint mark on it I have another one I believe it was a 73 I'd like to somehow shown to you if I can I understand in my pocket change one day and just throw them in my dresser but I'm curious if they're worth anything or how would I get them priced
SBA $ should be scrapped, I heard they have vaults full of them, maybe have a GSA sale? I don't know why, but people will not use a $ coin. Paper $, some you don't even want to touch, I don't mean to complain but I get pennies like that too, they're all green, really thick stuff.
I have several, it is normal. The Philadelphia Mint didn't put mint marks on pennies, only year was 2017, so no mint mark is normal and minted at Philadelphia.
I think I have a very rare coin never seen before. A United States quarter with no year on it with very heavy on copper cladding around the edge of the quarter???
That’s not what I said nor how it works. Only Denver produced cents in 1922 so all are Denver mint, but they tried to save the dies and accidentally removed the mint mark in one die pair. It pays to do research then be snide.
@@davidgrantmartin3214 but it’s not the reality, the Philadelphia mint creates the dies then ships them to the branch mints then they used to hand punch their mint mark. The 1922 D is still a Denver Mint coin even without the mint mark.
In the past two weeks, I told somebody on OfferUp that the U.S. pennies have no mint mark except 2017, with an exception, after he posted a 1942 or '44 penny w/no mint mark, claiming it was rare, and i think he posted a price of $2000. After that, I asked, "So what's the price of it now?", and it took him a couple few days to respond. Two messages - "Hey Hanu...", was the first one. "Lick my nuts" was message #2! Funny, yet uncalled for, and definitely grounds to being reported on.. People always show hostility when you call them out, out loud, on lying, cheating, scamming, etc., as if YOU were the one being a scumbag at that moment. "HOW DARE YOU EXPOSE ME LIKE THAT!" lol whatevs dude...
I still can't get over that I heard ( in A Video I might Add ) that the 73 dime was only made in 1 particular mint that year so if you found a no mint mark you had an error.. so Im like oh it's a conspiracy he said that just to mess with me personally he knew Id find one mustve planted it somehow you know that type of thing 😂 Lol I'm just kidding.. no it's true how I got that information but the rest I made up lol aaaaah gotta love being bored

I found someone selling Large Dollor for $1700 the coin 1776 to 1976 the same one in your video is it worth buying
No, it is not
Great video!
I have a quarter with two dates on it... I can't afford to have it graded, what do I do?
It's a normal Bicentennial that is not worth grading.
I have proof set in the sixties which. One of those would be worth the big money please? Comment back thank you for this video
None of them, they’re all worth around $30 to $35 each.
@@CoinHELPuI will keep them till they go up in price
I have just found 1982 s
Sms worth anything?
Very shine beautiful

It's a proof not an SMS and it's very common.

Sir, how can I contact you? I have several US cents, and there are errors in minting and multiple dates
I don’t help like that. You can post coins in our help community the link is in the description.
Hey can you repeat this again? Having tried with no mint marks…JUST kidding. Your awesome thank you for educating people
Do u have a 1910 with no mint mark

So is the mint mark the p or d?
Neither. It didn’t have one. Philadelphia didn’t put them on cents except 2017.
@@CoinHELPuI have a few without the mint mark. Are they rare?
I have a 1941 silver quarter with what seems to be no mint mark.
That is normal.
@@CoinHELPu good to know! Thank you
I think I have a very rare coin never seen before. A United States quarter with no year on it with very heavy on copper cladding around the edge of the quarter???
Daniel,I have several 1944 some with s,
They're not worth nit a few cents, always use an actual coin price guide like a 2025 Red Book.
What about the 1969
No P??? How do i compleat a P D S. Set?😂
so if denver forgot a mint mark it just becomes a Phil coin, how convenient.

@@CoinHELPu i didn't say you said that. im just pointing out the reality of the situation for coins minted at both mints.

I got a 1975 dime with no mint mark
👍🏼
Did the US mint do this no-mint mark stuff just to create mass-confusion? 😂
I did a video on that.
I have over 200 no mint mark proof set pennies I got them from the bank
1964 and before didn't have mint marks, so that is normal.
