Can you clarify this, for me? Are the "punches" with the "D" and "S" on them made in Philadelphia? "Punches" being the tool that the employee uses to make the mark on the dies at their respective mint. Right? Is this what you are saying?

Growing up my Mother was a waitress and bartender, she'd always bring home her change and we'd go through it and pull out any old coin's and save them. She passed away back in 2010, and I honestly haven't really been interested in looking at them, until recently. Honestly I didn't realize the possible difference in value on so many of the same coin's depending on what I would call almost imperceptible mark's (to the untrained eye) until I happened to come across a video of yours. So I thank you for that 😎 By the way the reason I posed my original question is because I think I have a 1927 D wheat penny with the D on the left side. Any chance you'd be interested in seeing it? There are triple mint marks but there's also other issues with mint marks and why it is important to check it against known listings for die marlk and appearance.

You can't, that is impossible, the US Mint stop hand punching mint marks in 1989 so no over mint marks or RPMs after that date. You have a damaged or contact mark or die chip or something like that.
First,I'm confused..How does a minted coin from San Francisco get to Denver to be repunched?...Or is it that San Francisco has not only an s stamp but a d stamp as well?...and why?...like to discuss some things with you...
You can go through Heritage auctions they will grade and oxygen your coin off usually it's easy enough to contact them or if it's in good condition and you want to skip the grading process could cost you some money but take good pictures listed on eBay look up others of it's like see what they're selling for if nothing happens you can always remove the listing stuck at home I have nothing to do but watch these videos so hope that helps

Can I send you a picture of a 1984 lincoln sent that I have. This is not like any I've ever seen before. I believe it is a D over S and the S underneath is actually bigger than the D so their is no denying this error. It is in plain sight.

J and b i have a 1953 penny with a d over d but one seems to be at a 25 degree angle it is not a beautiful coin im guessing a au 58 i also have a 1955 what i believe is a double die not the exstreme version but it has cuds and doubling can be seen in in in god we and slight on thedate and rpm

Cents don’t have P mint marks so it doesn’t exist. 2017 is the only year for P in a cent.
