Krivaja Valley is awesome. I think, if PR devs focused more on Cold War era battles(even fictional), factions, equipment and so on, - it would breathe a new life into PR. Not so many massive multiplayer shooters with that atmosphere, you know? WW2, Modern Warfare, but not from that time, when AK-74 just came out from the factories. So, I think, it would be interesting for people. Especially, when you consider that ArmA Reforger gained popularity, and things like Afterconflict are nowhere near completion.

Battlefield 2 was the single greatest MP game ever made, the modding community was incredible. I'm not even joking. It was peak multiplayer fps. We had so many total conversion mods it's insane. The devs behind Squad seem to have forgotten their roots.

He first made me read the huge manual that kept me occupied for an entire afternoon, and when I finally joined a match that afternoon, I was shaking, but I had so much fun.. almost 10 years later now, I really have to play this again.
I dont think that works that way. Performance is based on how many polygons need to be rendered by the computer. More trees...more polygons. Grouping it all together will make it 1 entity, but not less poly. Grouping *may* decrease loading times, but not gain FPS.
The PTRS-41 is a fucking wild gun. Weights 46 lb (21kg), is over 6 feet long (~210cm) and has a 48 inch barrel (~121cm). It fires a 14.5mm projectile from a 5 round internal magazine at 1,013 m/s and can penetrate 40mm of armor plate (RHA) at 100m, which 10mm more than the side of a Panzer IV without side skirts, and can penetrate the front, side and rear of almost every version of the Panzer III (except J through N models).
I just wanna tell you some secret tip if nobody said it before. You can tell the Soviets and Germans apart the best if you look at the helmet. The more light green one which looks like a turtle is Soviet and the more cooking pot looking one is German, if that makes sense.
I LOVE that they are really leaning into WWII... I'm looking to play for the first time in ages! It's awesome that you keep it real and always promote this awesome game! in a way, the milsim genre's (well.... as we know it) origins!
@@ivvan497 because theres like 2 full size serves, and its hard if you are playing without friends, finding a good squad and understanding what to do in some situation without the proper communication is hard.
The longer time goes on, the less graphical difference I see between PR and Squad. I remember being blown away by Squad, and now sometimes I need to read and re-read what I'm watching.

The title led me to expect a video on its features or persuasive essay on why to try it agian, but it was just straight gameplay and banter, not bad at all just not what I was hoping for oh well
I had recently installed the game last week, it's a fantastic game, and I had lots of fun learning the game mechanics but my only problem is that my PING is very high because I live in the Philippines where it averages from 300-500ms which is unplayable and there are only a few available servers on Multiplayer and one o CO-OP.
@@JayneMorre bad luck :( I have seen people from SEA play on NA servers with like 2-300 ping though. Are you sure there's nothing wrong with your internet?

As stupid/comical as the PTRS looks in game, it was actually that large in real life (6 ft 11 inches) but had to be carried around by 2 soldiers usually so 1 guy just sprinting along with it looks absolutely absurd.
The new suppression effect is even more brutal now, fights are a lot more intense especially on coop with like bots insta targetting you. Ngl its sus how russian servers seems fine but english ones keep getting DDOSed. Even coop servers are not spared.

They probably got even better at grouping multiple trees into the same object to make the performance better, allowing them to place denser forests 😊

How to get less/good ping if im playing from sea, the servers are usually from russia. (300-400 ping)
