- What If Yajirobe from #DragonBall decided to train and become stronger than he was in the anime series? His power had potential and when it was Yajirobe vs Goku, it was very even...for a while. However, this character became very lazy and chose to live with Korin and have an easy life...but what if he didn't and chose to be more active against King Piccolo and his son? Hey folks, MasakoX here. On this channel, we like to give some lesser known characters the chance to do better by looking to the main character for inspiration. In this world, where Goku is the strongest one going and somebody quite likeable, there aren't many people who have the drive and initiative to do better and try to surpass him specially; well, with the possible exception of Tenshinhan, that's been his MO ever since he met him, even with him becoming a good guy. He still wants to beat Goku. Anyway, in this story, we have another person who might be a likely candidate to outdo Goku when it comes to power and potential...now if only he had the initial spark to go with it. Yes, it's that time again. We are now seeing the likes of Yajirobe finally getting the push to do better as a Dragon Team member and starting to train more like Goky.
Now if you're thinking that this is something that could never happen, you might be mistaken actually! Based on what we know from power levels, character bios and what not, it turns out that Yajirobe was actually pretty skilled and pretty powerful back in the early Dragon Ball days. His power was pretty close to Goku for a long time and the only reason he fell to the wayside in later years was simply for the fact that makes up his entire character...he's absolutely and positively bone idle. He is lazy, he is apathetic about everything and thusly, he doesn't look to improve at nearly the same pace as anyone else. The only reason he trained before Vegeta and Nappa arrived was because he was basically forced to. However here, his spark towards becoming a stronger fighter was much more substantial. Here, he cared about getting stronger and was much more invigorated and energised by the sight of Goku and his prodigious skills.

What if saiyans kept their tails?
This what if has more potential than you think.
Firstly I wonder kioken oozaru would be possible.
Also in GT the tail appeared to make it easier for Goku to use ssj3 so that could make the Buu saga much easier.
And of course ssj 4 (most official crossovers of Blue and 4 treat them as equal ie- DBs heroes , Gogeta finisher in FighterZ.)

I would like to see Yajiorbe develop sword skills more such as injecting ki into his sword and inventing a lot of innovative ki sword techniques. Maybe we can see Yajirobe use the Z-sword and even get a transformation based on his status as a Samurai it could be called Samurai Spirit where his sword skills power up greatly.

That would actually be a pretty cool technique to use, although Yajirobe would need to be at full health in order to use the sword beam! (just like Link)

well, as soon as Goku takes off his weighted clothes, Radditz will have to deal with two power levels near a 1000
If there's one Human I believe can go beyond Saiyan it's Yajirobe. And if he ever does need a "Zenkai boost" here and there? He can always eat the tails/limbs of their strongest foes that virtually no one else would ever wanna eat. Vegeta's tail, Ginyu's horns, Frieza's arm, Cell's discarded bug carapace and so on. His appetite is often maximum after all.
I'm still not used to the idea of Chad Yajirobe...but I'm loving this.

I just wanted to know where Masako would take this story… would Raditz survive? Would the Z warriors train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to face the saiyans, since Yajirobe in this universe showed that it was possible? Would Yajirobe inspire the Z-Fighters to continue to train harder?

I hope Yajirobe takes over as the cool uncle and helps Gohan far more then Piccolo ever did. Like keeping him in fighting shape after the Cell Games.
I would like to see Yajirobe to take on Gohan as a student and teach Gohan swordsmenship skills so we can see Gohan become a proper swordsmen in this what if.
We can even see Yajirobe train Goten and Trunks in swordsmenship in the Buu Arc

So I personally think, depending on how this goes, we can see Raditz go through a change! Not turn good per say, but more so turn neutral. Maybe while Goku and Yajirobe are fighting him, and Raditz is on the back foot, perhaps he can offer to help the pair get Gohan back. I mean this could be Raditz playing dirty to get back at the two, but the pair would put him in his place (or in the ground) if he tried anything...
Kinda expecting him to flee earth. Might get a zenkais. But Id assume he avoids Vegeta and Nappa.

Your pacing and Toriyama emulated thinking became so natural I feel like it's canon. Yajirobe comedic fight felt like the show back in the days. If you improve further I bet the old master will do as Yajirobe did, shun feelings of retiring and improve upon his work, out of rivalry.
This is one of my favorite "What If" series.

Honestly he is one of my favorite human characters in the series. Glad to see him one of the main guys on the dragon team. Goku and Yajirobe best buddies of this what if. Excited to see what sort of fusion those two would create.

I really really hope this continues still! This is such a cool concept and I feel like Yajirobe is by far one of the most creative individuals in terms of his fighting whilst also maintaining impressive discipline! It'd be cool to see him yeah Trunks a thing or two!

I think we will finally see a human keep up with the sayins this time
I wonder how though, I see him falling behind for the same reason Piccolo did. No transformations and Zenkai.
He should fall behind Piccolo after he absorbed Nail.
There can be some argument that he can keep up and stay slightly ahead Piccolo/Nail if he learned Kaio-ken but would then permanently fall behind him once he merges with Kami.
I guess he could do the Z sword training but would be much weaker than the saiyans and Piccolo and would have less potential.

Its been shown multiple times when human's go through intense, similar training then what Goku got they make massive leaps in power. They don't get large gains from just fighting/getting bodied like Sayain's do. The problem with Human's is they tried to gain like Sayain's do, their gains in the Sayain Saga under Goku's old training were bigger then his was. Sure they trained but post Frieza none of them took their training to the next level like gravity, Time Chamber etc. Hell even Tien didn't bother going into the room and he constantly trains, but its not efficient training.
You can only do similar levels of training before the gains putter out. And while they wouldn't be able to keep up with SSJ's without a multiplier of their own, I have a hot take they can keep with base Sayain's at least if they trained smarter not just harder.
Put it this way, by pre explosion Sayain's were trash compared to stuff you see now and the human Z fighters at this point are probably stronger then most or all of them. There are some Nappa's age who was considered a elite who was training and fighting their whole lives, yet only was in the 4 thousand range. So it goes to my point its not purely genetics but how effective the training is.
There could also be the fact Goku and Vegeta could in fact freaks, and most Sayain's shouldn't be compared to them potential wise. We don't really know.

He's a background support character that didn't need to be one. He could have been more.
he's a healer type though, and not even the popular magic based healer. he's manaless, has low hp, underleveled, and uses limited items to heal.
@@lawrencelopez9839 he fought the Saiyans and cut of Vegeta's tail turning the tides of battle to a bigger degree than some of the big Guns. Power Levels don't make a hero, actions do... and Yajirobe is a hero.
