Bernard Sumner's kindness and humility in keeping himself in the background, leaving Marr always in the spotlight, is to respect the "owner" of the show and the audience. great! bulunga
That's such a great album and song. Like to see Bernard just get up there and have some fun and not give a fck. Two living legends on stage right there
Good to see Bernard is just as bad live as when he’s doing New Order tracks lol - but you’ve just gotta love him amazing contribution to music over the years - great track, great version, great performers
Barney was always a weak singer, that's what's interesting about him, he never really wanted the singing spot but he still did it. I hate seeing comments about age. Not everybody age the same and it doesn't define a person. Even if you hate him for many reasons i think people should save those comments for themselves
He's always been a weak guitarist as well. Joy Division are a cool band and all but sometimes when I watch their live footage I wonder what is Stephen Morris doing with them.
The ONLY thing I don't like about the group "Electronic" is how difficult it is to search for them by text or voice in the music services ;-). ... their name being both a band and an entire genre of music (ha!). Otherwise, one of my favorites!
Is it possible Johnny's tuned down, then using a capo, or is that not something guitarists do? I'm a guitar rube. Chordwise, I think I see the D, the Cadd9, G, but then not sure what's after that. Bmaj7?
Really...really sad :-( This shows the difference between the good and artists who when they appeared were on another planet perfectly as they age. I remember this track when it 1st came out and Bernie in 80's & 90's with New Order & Electronic and thought they were good. I also thought Dave Gilmour & Pink Floyd were on another planet then. Unfortunately Bernie is now showing his age...badly, whereas Dave Gilmour & what remains of Pink Floyd are still living on another planet and continues to blow me away when Gilmour plays his guitar.
Marr and Sumner showing why they are great together , never tire of seeing this performance would of killed to be there .
Bernard Sumner's kindness and humility in keeping himself in the background, leaving Marr always in the spotlight, is to respect the "owner" of the show and the audience. great! bulunga
Loved Electronic back in the day. Their first album was pure gold.
third album too
@@gomdol-np2uy Yup. Enjoyed all 3 albums, even though I felt the second was a little over produced.
It certainly was its epic
We are a proud few
what they made more than one album ?
We Love barney❤❤ and marr ❤❤.
" i don't know where to begin ", indeed
me too
lack of rehearsal, but still v good.
Haha, Bernard's still a legend though..
Have had the pleasure in seeing bernard front new order and bad lieutenant. What a brilliant frontman , and intelligent lyricist
😂
Great to hear this song again.
Just bought the first Electronic album, its still mint!!
Would like another album from them one day 🤞🏻
Thank you Bernard and Johnny for the music of my childhood!
Electronic were amazing, please do more together Barney and John
A match ordained in Heaven when these two formed Electronic.
Great to run into this and see them together onstage!
Barny literally didn't know where to begin. Lol gotta love him class.
you can hear someone saying 'chorus' and 'break' 😂
@@davidmcintyre7908 yeah Johnny is
I hope Hooky saw it.
Fantastic. Thanks for filming and sharing. Barney and Johnny back together. All we needed was those lush backing vocals from Denise Johnson.
Soooo true
RIP Denise
RIP Denise...
Electronic used to be one of my icons😊Of course they are more and more awesome😊🎉❤

That's such a great album and song. Like to see Bernard just get up there and have some fun and not give a fck. Two living legends on stage right there
Marr and NO - my dream show!
Electronic was my favorite super group! Haha!
I LOVE YOU JOHNNY FUCKINNN MAAAARRRRR. I WISH I WAS IN ATHENS TO SEE THIS.
Just brilliant!
Две легенды!!!
Good to see Bernard is just as bad live as when he’s doing New Order tracks lol - but you’ve just gotta love him amazing contribution to music over the years - great track, great version, great performers
I thought he sounded OK, though did sound potentially autotuned or pre-recorded at points.
The jammy bastard came on from the other side ;) love the pair of them. To say I was born in 98 and how many of their songs I listen to now. :D
Bring back Electronic
Wish I was there..Brilliant
Какие же они крутые)))
They are so cool))))
Just needs Denise Johnson's vocals towards the end.
RIP Denise Johnson
It's so sad that she passed. Did COVID-19 get her?
@@GenevaRob72 Cause of death is not known but her body was found with her inhaler in her hand...
Her vocals made this track👍
Psychic sound powerful and exciting DRUM & BASS!
Can't love this enough. Thanks!
I reckon Barney’s still out there waiting to come in on the last chorus! 🤣
Electrónic please come back
This is wonderful, thank you for filming this❤️✌🏻
Boys will be Boys.
Love these dudes.
❤❤
Thank you so much for posting this!
Electronic..for..ever
Thank you Ilze!! Very special moment you captured and shared❤️✌🏻
HECK! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Mr Marr is a legend
OMG this is so rare!
Thanks for this!

People are stupid i think he and neil from psb are the same age 67
He's always been a weak guitarist as well. Joy Division are a cool band and all but sometimes when I watch their live footage I wonder what is Stephen Morris doing with them.
@@Chris-Ian yeah but he made a pretty successful career even with that weak singing and playing :) good for him
@@solas4999 indeed
@@Chris-Ian JD wouldnt have been JD without barney
Que grande dupla!!!!!
sweet thanks for sharing
Thank you for that!
great moment!
Now make a new Electronic album, dammit!
Yeahhhhhh
I was reading today that Johnny wants to join New Order,or do more Electronic.I say do both
Would love to see another one.
FUCKING EPIC
Lovely jubbly
"I don't know where to....." oh the irony😅😂
That studio sound can never be duplicated livr.
Temazoooo eternoooo
EPIC.
Does Johnny sing “I DO know where to begin” after Barney keeps coming in too early??!! 😂
Good vibes from Amazon jungle to you!
bassline!
One of the most underrated pop bass lines ever.
Trop 👍🎸🎵
Bernard needs to do some sit ups. And get some acoustic guitars onstage for this one, to do it justice.
Im sorry, it doesnt cut it anymore.
Maybe give the smack up then?
Oh man what a privilege!
NICE
Johnny I know you really ment Welcome so and so from Joy Division... (Y) :)
I think its David Brent pretending to be Bernard Sumner...
Johnny Fuckin Marr.
Bernard doesn’t know where to begin. Lol
Is that Vince Gill from Motley Crue singing?
💎💎💎💎🎙☀️
Marrs so fuckin cool
Bernie reading the lyrics
Super re ok
The ONLY thing I don't like about the group "Electronic" is how difficult it is to search for them by text or voice in the music services ;-). ... their name being both a band and an entire genre of music (ha!). Otherwise, one of my favorites!
😍😍😍😍
Love this song..but this is pretty rough
Is it possible Johnny's tuned down, then using a capo, or is that not something guitarists do? I'm a guitar rube. Chordwise, I think I see the D, the Cadd9, G, but then not sure what's after that. Bmaj7?
B flat
Yes, we do tune down if most of our songs are a half-step down -- but capo for others where needed then.
Sumner never could sing, but here at least he is trying
Took Bernard a few bars but he got it.
Bought Electronic first album só angry cause the end of New Order... times change...
Bet marrs didnt get that incredible reaction like Sumner did coming on stage
FABBO!!!
Yo Barney...."Who's that gut lord marching?
You should cut down on your parklife mate, get some exercise"
sick reference bro
BLUR parklife
oh very good, sir.
Porklife.
Barneys really letting himself go!
Hes 65
Let's see how you look once you're older than 16. 😂
Probably sounds alright, after 10 pints!
Barney
Crikey, Barney's beer belly in that clip. Needs to get on the slimfast pronto.
Ole sleepy Bernard!
Barney's voice sounding a little ragged
waited like 30 years for this, and its terrible lol. oh well Barney has really fallen off the wagon.
Woeful vocals
Also..stop dancing Barney.
Barneys ruined! 🤣🤣
I’ve always like Bernard’s vulnerability - the voice, sometimes off key.
Really...really sad :-(

Once you get a little bit old for your job, you should give up? OK.
I mean Barney was addicted to drugs so that might’ve played a role in his aging he’s also just trying to enjoy life since well he’s an elder now
Bernard's weak vocals wiith Marr guitars reminds of Morrissey's weaker voice lol
Sad attempt. Bernard not only has to keep reading the lyrics but he sounds terrible. Bummer.
Sumner aged gracefully, until he didn't.
You two should go and worship Jagger.
Bernards really let himself go
I'm glad I wasn't there because I would have fainted and hit my head on the cement ground and maybe died or gotten brain damage.
Bernard Summers never been able to sing.
But has a career spanning decades with tens of classic records. How are you doing?
How to butcher your own record.
