((...we do know what makes life worth living. The people ...loved and they were loved. They were mothers and fathers; they were husbands and wives; sisters and brothers; sons and daughters; friends and neighbors. They had hopes for the future and they had dreams that were not yet fulfilled.
And if there’s anything to take away from this …it’s the reminder life is very fragile. Our time here is limited and it is precious. And what matters at the end of the day is not the small things, it’s not the trivial things, which so often consume us and our daily lives. Ultimately, it’s how we choose to treat one another and how we love one another.
It’s what we do on a daily basis to give our lives meaning and to give our lives purpose. That’s what matters. At the end of the day, what we’ll remember will be those we loved and what we did for others. That’s why we’re here.)) - President Obama 🔥 🔥

While I was in, they told us to watch out for crips and bloods infiltrating the Army. Gangs were joining and learning military tactics. In reality, a lot of impoverished people join the military to escape the poverty. Many gangs come from these communities.

    • @joannreed2064

Sure! They want to become professional and lawful,and/or looked upon as such /recognized as useful, capable, passionate talents perhaps useful as loyal enlisted recognized patriots, veyerans, credibility.
Maybe they wanted to escape the street type crime branded gangs, get off that branded list, obligation and arrive to once discharged honorably have some recognized authority or status as officially served, honorably discharged, directly affiliated to the US government served soldier- not a forever street crime gang thug ,in authorities' eyes or the GANG associates who will often demand loyalty, and obligation to them ,from what we hear (scant knowledge as for me-) the former gang members are considered lifers ti them regardless what their own individual wishes are- so where else would you have to move out of it and then make a.serious severance from that to move powerfully ,to a whole new allegiance and highest authority ,do the time enlisted, etc. then after if living, discharge out honorably into new identity by way of earned, lawful, credible, and have some established society and juice card referral or whatever you call it- buddies, or educated of how stuff works that otherwise a former gang member branded for life likely has little or no NO OUTSIDE SOLID CONTACTS,FRIENDS,OR SAFE FREEDOM,CHOICES,OR CLOUT! OR SKILL,JOB REFERENCES,INDEPENDENCE.
IT MUST BE LIKE A PRISON TO BE A YOUNG MAN IN A GANG BRANDED AND AGING INTO NOTHING OR PRISON,OR EARLY DEATH!
So, that's ONE side of cases. Then there are stories now in circulation in America and documentaries that tell of the Cartels members that the Cartels REQUIRE members to have gone all thru military order, training, status, high diciplined.
Weapons experts. So, there are different possibilities of course. On way other levels I guess
I'll tell ya what- GOVERNMENT CORRUPTIONS AND ANY SPREADING CONTAGION IN CORRUPTION and human rights abuses on long back lagged -- lowered priorities, like major levels of missing, wrongly cps removed, kidnapped, misplaced, misidentified, missing or underreported statuses and slaved away in hidden industrial slavery and not looked after but government INVOLVED REALLY SUCKS BADLY! @zolarczakl6815 2 ปีที่แล้ว +48

You can't. Totalitarian governments offer the masses comfort and security, and large swathes of the population will willingly comply.
All government have entropic motion towards total control. They will take away your freedoms step by step. They will step right up to the line where you start to protest, but taking up arms is still unreasonable. They will sit there and wait. Then, later, 6 months, maybe years down the line, they will encroach more.
Since the pandemic, we have seen a sprint towards totalitarianism from the western "democracies" under the guise of public health/safety.

Well, they could stop complying with laws. That's their choice. Or buy some land. Write a manifesto. Make a formal declaration to the state and federal governments of their intentions to form an autonomous society.
I'd go back to using gold, silver, and other precious metals as a store of value. Nobody can manipulate their mass-value; it's a fundamental property.
But my guess is they are actually okay with fiat currency, homicide, violence and seizure of property just so long as its being used for what they want and nobody else.
Over the course of their lives, these people have likely done much to empower the very systems they now complain about.
Think about how many people of another race or another culture are either dead or in prison right now for exercising an ability to make a similar choice as this for themselves (albeit stunted).
They need to demonstrate that what they mean to do is either secessionary or otherwise to everyone's benefit. Selfishness is not morality, sorry.
The Devil is in the details, as they say. Otherwise, these men are hypocrites and should receive none of what they want but quite the opposite, actually.

  • @Chuck1284-
    @Chuck1284- หลายเดือนก่อน +2

The Left sees militias as a threat to their hegemony of government here in the US, and why they view them with such disdain and fear. You see some states trying to legislate laws that make any kind of paramilitary training illegal which encompasses ordinary things like wilderness survival training for outdoorsmen, pretty much ANYTHING involving firearms or hunting and land navigation for hikers/rescue volunteers. Folks have discovered during the past 5 years that the police can't protect them, especially since they're underfunded, understaffed and demoralized by progressive bureaucrats. So militias are the rural residents DIY safeguard against an eroding social order that would endanger their families and their communities.

This oath comes from Title 10 Section 502 of the US Code as passed by the politicians in Congress, and signed by the politician that is the President. The first half is almost identical to the oath the President has to take as stated in Article 2 of the Constitution. Because Constitutionally it is the President who is sworn to uphold the Constitution and not random service people, you also swear to obey the President’s orders. The President as Commander in Chief of the armed forces uses said armed forces to carry out his oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. The armed forces play zero role in protecting the Constitution but what duly elected politicians say they do.

About halfway through the story, but wanted to say that, as an Army veteran, the Army is a diverse organization that excels at integrating people into a cohesive unit from across our vast nation of extremely diverse socioeconomic, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. It’s a remarkable thing. When you are serving, the military itself becomes your family and identity; you are bonded to your brothers and sisters. I never witnessed any racial or religious discrimination in the Army. It’s truly a merit based organization. There are still workplace politics and if your boss doesn’t like you, then that’s going to be a challenge. In the Army, if you do well at your job, focus on the soldiers, and execute the mission, you will be recognized. I’ve been working in the civilian world for years now and I wish people in the business world had as much integrity and honor as the people I served with. It was quite a surprise to me how people behaved in the business world once I got out of the military. One thing that rings true about this story is that when you get out of the military, it can be a shock to the psyche and leave people vulnerable to bad actors. In the military you have a purpose, a family, respect from the people around you, and the shared trauma of combat. Once you leave you the service it’s almost like you have been cast adrift. The companionship and support systems are gone. It’s like the load bearing columns from a building getting removed. To grow as a citizen you need to endure that, but I know from experience it can be a hard time. Sorry for the long comment, but I just had to chime in that we should give some recognition to the Army for being an organization that turns people from all walks of life into a single color: Green.

At the end of the day, the guards let them in, trump asked for the national guard but it was rejected by the left the day before hand, guards literally said i don't support you but this is your right as they let them in. What can we learn from this? the right is orderly, when it reaches a point of violence it wont loot and burn but it will effectively target the government. Yes it would. These individuals want a certain type of politics to exist, which is one of creating a white ethnostate, where everyone has to go to church on Sunday, people of color are deported, homosexuals and other identities imprisoned or killed. Modern politics is incredibly depressing, but there is no appeasing people like this. Never has been.

The oath keepers are simply preparing themselves for if the government decides to become more tyrannical than they are now with the house passing the assault weapons ban and now allowing the ATF to create an amnesty period for pistol braces etc. All of this piles up to the point where everyone should start to wonder when the government will go full socialist. It seems with this administration we really are getting to the terrible realization that our government really seems to be getting to that point no return. Where if they continue on the current path of being socialist like the far left and president seems to be that they will cause an unnecessary civil war or strife that will explode if they continue to push what seems to be their socialist agenda.

Then there are Russians, Kurds, Turks, etc. Rebel groups are frequently fighting each other. Factions of FSA see Al Queda as too extreme, Al Queda sees ISIS as too extreme, etc etc. Imagine here. We have Neo Nazi groups, then fascist groups, then nationalist groups, to conservative groups, then libertarian groups, then the military loyal to govt, to liberal groups, then progressive groups, into antifa groups, to anarchist groups. All mixed and divided even further by particular sects of christianity,(just think back to the days when catholics and protestants slaughtered each other by the thousands) islamic, agnosticism, paganism...We would be fighting killing and r×ping each other for the next 30 years, easily.

One more argument against conscription. It’s bad enough that these individuals get access to military resources by volunteering, (better screening might be in order) but if one has conscription these “enemies of the state” would literally be forced to get full military training and access to military resources. The last thing you need is to be training your enemy on how to beat you, and then give the tools to do it.
The right wingers already own the judiciary, and now they control a significant part of the military. As well as a large part of commerce. Look out America, you are all in a very dangerous place. Think Germany, 1936. My generation remembers how that turned out. YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO THERE!

I must say I am far less alarmed by the title of Far right wing people infantrate the military then I would have been a title saying far left people influetrate the military..... Would be in real trouble and probably just be having nothing but rainbow parades... To each their own but the last is pushing for the military to start is to start incorporating things that have no business even being discussed and should play no part in being trained to defend the country..... I've always been somewhat in the middle maybe leaning one way or the other depending on the issue but I can tell you 1 thing for sure the far left has pushed me farther right in recent years than I ever have been... It's absurd the things they are focusing on and there is no civil discord or understanding with them… you're either in or you're wrong and you should be canceled
And I hate to break it to you but not everyone who has served and law enforcement or the military and sworn to protect their country but now disagrees with the way it's being ram and what's the stand up against him is a racist or a white supremacist.... That's a cheap cup out to call everyone that.... I'm not saying there aren't exceptions and that some of them don't exist within that group but there is no group, no protest and no movement that has gone on over the last few years or ever where there are not outliers giving them a bad name but that does not compose the Majority duck duck duck black lives matter was a big deal for some people yet there were teenagers and grown people even burning buildings of colored people and just wanting to riot and rechapic so do we claim that they are all that way and that the movement was just for that reason? Of course not because that does not fit the agenda or the narrative of what they want you to believe.... If a great much?.. We need to find common ground and roll through rationality because running back-and-forth from the democratic to the Republican party seeking answers is like running back-and-forth in between elm street and camp Crystal Lake... It's obviously not working but once again I stand by my opinion in saying that the left Being extremely manipulative to the new generation and trying to mold everything to fit their narrative or cancel anyone or anything that doesn't want to go right along with
Hopefully any intelligent person can see through the crap you are trying to be forced including what vice is trying to have you believe in this video by claiming that the far right are praying on people getting out of active service and manipulating them into joining them instead of thinking maybe that The people who agreed to serve their country and what it stands for in the 1st place don't like what's going on and want to take a stand against it and don't like being treated like puppets... But that couldn't be it right they couldn't be of sound and logic mind could they? No of course we have to claim they're riddled with mental illness or P TSD. com. very is that very cheap vice very cheap... It's obvious what side you are on but luckily people are dumb enough to be convinced of everything you're attempting here... If their own minds and make their own decisions and those who are choosing to join these groups aren't intelligent enough to do so and don't need to be manipulated Is to smell bullshit
Warning to my fellow veterans… according to vice and a lot of the people in this video you are mentally incompetent and a danger to everyone and yourself… having Intel and knowledge of how the military and the government works makes you stupid not better equipped to make decisions about how the country should be ran or what should be done when it's not ran the Way it should be… it's kind of funny but I've been paying attention to politics more and more over the years, educating myself deeply and it seems like the more I learn the less I have trust in this establishment that wants to take away our freedoms and convinces they're doing it for our own good… that don't be an idiot stand up for your rights and put the government in their place… this is what the Constitution was for... I never have and I never will advocate for violence all I am advocating for is critical thinking and Peaceful action.... I for one will not be taken advantage of and I don't want to live in a country full of mindless thrones who will

I would say the biggest real serious problem for the military is not the far rights but more of a far left movement of political correctness and political favor which has turned into corruption and some serious undermining of US military ability to fight properly. Political correctness is gone to far to where it jeopardizes the safety and security of troops on the ground air and sea. Perfect example of that is the enemy using religious buildings to fight from because they know that they cant be shot back at there. Its been going on for awhile in the leadership of the military. Contracting inadequate weapons and equipment for personal gain. Things like that. Perfect example of that is what happened at that Afgan airport. Is so bad its going to get US military personnel killed and it has already!

Where in the Constitution does it encourage Americans to challenge the government? Where? The US Constitution creates the federal government, and prohibits said government from doing certain things. You can vote for different representatives, but what article says it wants random citizens to challenge the government? I imagine you are assuming amendments to the Constitution imply a desire for citizens to challenge the government, but that isn’t in the fine print at all and is very debatable.
