    "That's the interesting thing about permanence. It actually only exists while someonebody keeps maintaining it" - That comment just struck me on some fundamental part of my being, I have the opposite problem you do, I crave a sense of permanence all the things that matter to me but I'm so aware of the emphereal nature of things, it terrifys me to get close to anyone or anything knowing that someday I'll have to deal with the ineveritable pain of saying goodbye, and that fact that so much is short and fleeting what is even the point to try to begin with? These are things I often am wrestling with, and honestly, this is the first time I'm really speaking out it , granted its in a comment on a video but here I am none the less trying to be a little braver with sharing my feelings even if just with what I hope to be like-minded strangers on this little corner of the internet 🍀

      Thank you so much for opening up and sharing your feelings! 🌸 We all feel so deeply in our lives, don’t we. Sometimes these feelings are too much but it’s good to have the outlet for them. I relate to the feeling of pain you described when it comes to saying goodbye. It’s like that to me with people - not so much with anything else, but with relationships of any kind. It’s difficult to find people who value same things you do and won’t just disappear one day.

    I've come across your channel a few days ago and I am obssesed with your creative filming and the stories you tell....everything you share resonates with me even though i'm so much older, in my early 50s now but going through a healing journey of shedding everything i've known to recreating my life completely as a reborn. Life is full of surprises and it's never too late to start over and acquire new skills or build a new life completely different from the one we once thought was good for us. Sending you love and blessigns, and thank you for sharing your beautiful videos

      Aah it’s never too late! I truly believe that age is just a construct. You can always begin again, and it doesn’t matter when you decide to do that! 🥰 Thank you for your kindness!

    Have you ever been afraid to do something because the decision seemed too permanent to you? I've been anxious about future lately, as I now reassess my values and think what I want to do next with my life. It's been difficult to make any decisions and move on as everything I can think of seems too permanent. If I'm buying a house - it needs to be a dream home right away. If I'm learning new skill - I need to hone it for the rest of my life. Otherwise why do it at all? This mindset caused a lot of worries, and now I'm learning to think differently. It doesn't need to be so absolute. Every decision can be revised and changed -if that's what your heart desires.

      Thank you Daria for your soul healing videos :)
      I've just discovered your channel and subscribed. What I'm confused about is that you address the topic of being alone, solitude, enjoying doing everything on your own in the countryside but in another video you appear with your husband.
      Are you living alone in the countryside or you moved to the countryside with your husband from the first day? I first understood you were living there alone

    • @IamDaria
      @IamDaria  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@holo406 Aah sorry about the confusion! I’ve been with my husband for 13 years already since we were teens, so in that sense I’m never alone. But I spend most of my days alone still - he has his job and his things to do & mostly stays at home (since work from home started a few years back), while I spend a lot of days outside of home and everywhere I go - I go alone. I’m not surrounded by people most of the time, go to isolated places and spend a big part of my days in solitude by choice rather than by circumstance. 😊 (I don’t have family in this country and until this year didn’t have friends here either, so in that sense there was a lot of time spent alone by circumstance too.) I hope this answers your question, but if not feel free to ask 😊

    I just love that dress you are wearing in this video! I like the way the sleeves are made, the fancy bodice, and the three-tired skirt! What fun to dress up sometimes.
    On another note, I am in the middle of huge changes in my life ... I retired almost 4 years ago moved with my husband to his hometown. It's on the edge of the North Maine woods (Maine, USA)... quite a change from where I grew up (in Hawaii). But you know I'm loving it. I've taught myself to can foods we grow in our gardens, am learning to forage edible plants from the woods & fields, & even grind my own grains in a small mill. This past summer we dried some of the corn we grew & I rubbed the kernels off & grind some for cornbread to have with Pinto beans we grew ourselves. I've never had such clean beans ... we harvested them together & I shelled & stored them myself. We also grew black beans this year, too. I'm so happy & excited by this new life. It's like living the "Little House on the Prairie"... only we're in the woods, not the prairie. Just had to share; thanks for listening.
    Aloha, Sue 🌺💜🦋

    I couldn't agree more - we often put so much pressure on ourselves when it comes to making choices, trying to make sure we are making the right choice forever. This hit me particularly when the phase of my life started when I realized some things were done and I couldn't change them anymore. That my life wasn't the completely blank canvas anymore that it was in my teenage years. I can't repeat my high school degree. I will never be able to be a young mother. But that doesn't mean we can't change things later and make new choices. I can still study different subjects or choose a different career. I can still be a mother. It is never too late to be or become what we want to be and to make different choices. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful piece of art and your wisdom with us 💕

      Thank you for sharing about your experiences! 🌸 It’s so true, we can never bring back the past and sometimes it seems that what we haven’t grasped in the past is lost forever. I feel that way sometimes too. But then truly, nothing is lost as long as we keep living 😊

    Hello, I feel like I'm writing to myself living in another place in this world. I have just discovered your magnificent channel through the explorer on Instagram. I still remember the reel; it's taken from a scene in this video where you walk among the purple fields with the music "Golden Rays of Sunlight" for Tim Janis. On that moment, I can tell my heart leaped out of my body, soaring where I was once walking in the fields in my country Lebanon, enjoying the breeze, the sunlight, the scents and the invisible. After that, it becomes a daily ritual to watch one of your videos to live, refresh, enjoy, learn, get inspired, and immerse in the "another" world. Thank you from the heart for posting your moments, journeys, feelings and everything that makes the world shine again. Thank you you are in this world. You are AWESOME! My sincere greetings to you. ❤

    Creo que es lo mejor que nos ofrece la vida: la capacidad de volver a empezar cuando caes o cuando tu mundo se derrumba, o simplemente te apetece darle un giro a tu vida; volver a escribir un nuevo capítulo que seguramente siempre será mejor, porque los seres humanos tenemos la voluntad de renacer de nuestras propias cenizas más fuertes, y aprendemos a vivir nuestras nuevas circunstancias. Gracias por este precioso vídeo🌟

    This is exactly how I have been feeling recently, and I haven’t been able to put it into words. I feel scared to move forward but also scared to stay still because I feel like my choice will become my permanent reality. This video really reminds me to one let go of that timeline and also to be grateful and take some steps forward, thank you.

    I started my career job a 35, my home at 37 and my writing of stories (my favorite hobby) at 55, so my plans for my future in my childhood and young adulthood were way different than what transpired. There are very few things in our lives that I think are actually permanent. They are in, my mind, faith, hope, life and love.

    Thank you for such a beautiful video. I thing change is hard because it’s fear of the unknown, leaving a comfort zone even though we may not be content. At 64 and having gone through many challenges and still do I’m working on this now, making positive changes to bring more peace, tranquility and doing things I love and enjoy rather that what everyone expects me to do. Such a positive thoughtful video and message, very calming, relaxing❤

    Hi, Daria! 😉 🌸💮💠Beautiful images and such wise words!👍 I think you're right: many of the barriers and limitations of life are often self-imposed by our own mindset! But we can choose. We can change our lives at any age, and also do our best to make our choices permanent. Sometimes, there will be real obstacles, but as we say in 🇪🇸, 'As long as there is life, there is hope'.😉 Thank you so much for the video!🥰 👏👏👏

    Bluebells in the dell.
    What have we here, say
    but in merry May?
    When we trip and play
    in the woods all day.
    Robin sinds his song
    under the sylvan throng:
    Oak and silver birch;
    Hazel tree and ash...
    Stream twinkles perch;
    flash gold, red and green...
    In the merry dell
    all day long 🍃
    {from Senor Badger's sing-along verse 🎼🤍 🕊 💚}
