Hi man! Great job!! I follow you , since I am also building my van now. Similar concept: AWD L3H3 transit,Ceramic insulation+Kaiflex, 135L fresh water, 80L grey water, Recycling Shower, Composting toilet, double swiwel seat, 24V system: 24V infrared floor heating, 2x8x320Ah LIFPO4 battery, Mine are 2 different manufacture..so i am going to use 2 separate 24v bms. than connect it in parallel. Bouge RV flexible ,walkable solar panels, double orion DC-to DC charger, murphy bed, I use aluminium extrusion frame,i will have a garage for motorcycle.
Wow you have a nice configuration! Yes if the batteries are not the same it’s better to have two separate bms 👍🏻 i’m really jealous about the workable solar panels🤩 good luck with your project!🤙🏻
@@diegosvan Thank you! I shipped the CIGS panels from USA to europe, now they sell it in germany too i think...I want to keep the weight under 3500kgs to sucessfully change to offical campervan.
Hi Diego, love the work you have been doing. Can you please post the link for the seller of the batteries? And one more question, will you do a follow up video on your solar panel setup? Something like more in-depth of the construction. Cheers and keep up the awesome work.
Thank you so much!!! Here is the link: x.alibaba.com/AxEsfy?ck=minisite Send a message and Amy Peng will give you a quote. 👍🏻 Yes I’m thinking about making another video about the roof rack but it’s the time to do it what I need 😅 Thanks for the support!
So you have 16 kW in your van and a Domestic FW3000 so how long can you stay off grid ? What is normal everyday consumption? And what is the weight of your battery 16kW ?
Not sure yet because I’m still building the van, but based on my calculations I should be good for a week without sunshine on the solar panels. We’ll see. The battery weighs 80kg. Lithium is far less heavy than lead batteries.
Diego, you’re a genius for me 👍🏻
Believe me, I’m not, I’m just insanely curious on everything. But thank you! 🙏🏻😊
Great video indeed. For me it's starting to look abaracadabara but I enjoy watching.
Thank you! Don’t worry the next videos are less technical 😅
Absolutely massive. I like this upgrade a lot.
Energy independence is really important to me😉

That’s my goal too! I’m going to weight the van soon to see where I’m at..

Didn't you compress the cells?
No I didn’t. There is basically no advantage for small solar applications.

But off course I panned to use the AC mainly when I have sun shining on the solar panels so it doesn’t drain so much energy from the battery
@@diegosvan great many thanks. Will follow your adventure and hope to learn some things for my build.
Thank you for the support! And good luck with your build!✌🏻
