For the bearing grease, I think it’s recommended every two years or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. For the brakes, as needed. They get inspected each time the bearings are serviced; so whenever the friction linings are low, its time to replace.

Are these sold as one piece already assembled?
@user-zd8wq1ec4p They come fully assembled. Some places can also get replacement parts such as shoes and magnets.
