Happy they let Martin drive it cause he’s one that can explain the car to us common mortals. He’s now a good commentator and his driving past allows him to push the car to working conditions and truly test it for us to understand.

My question to Mercedes is when are you going to allow the engine to rev beyond 12,000rpm? The limit is 15,000 and none of the engines I have seen on the grid go over 12k. In fact even in this video Martin Brundle mentioned hitting the limiter.

The hybrids have have a lot of criticism since their inception and I can understand some of them. But generally, I think they have been fantastic. The teams have done an incredible job and I can only foresee these cars getting better and better. I love the technology, the detail and the direction they point towards. Truly it is an engineer's sport and a team effort. Keep on pushing Mercedes, the competition isn't going to stand still. Congratulations on such a great success #TeamLH

No one ever actually gets to drive a modern F1 car unless you drive one for a living. Jimmie Johnson is an amazing and accomplished racing driver and McLaren wouldn’t him drive a new car. I know the aesthetics of an F1 car shouldn't be a consideration when designing an F1 car, but I think the W06 is one of the most beautiful F1 cars ever built. Beautiful work.

I get that it has to be obscenely expensive and a logistical headache to do these drives but, I wish they would do them anywhere besides England. It always gets lessened by the rain. Still a great video, though. Thanks to the guys who probably spent thousands of man hours making it happen.
Every time a journalist or vlogger wants to test an amazing car in Great Britain it’s always raining. We never get to see these cars being driven by someone more like us on a dry track.

Mercedes are so dominant, they not only post pretty much every trick of their cars online, they even answer questions in the comments section - some of which probably come from disgruntled Ferrari or red Bull employees!
This reveals once again the Mercedes WO6 is a the product of elite creative engineering. The other teams and manufacturers have to step up their game. Mercedes AMG should play no waiting game! With Mercedes, Hamilton is the new Fangio!
I didn't know they were even allowed to do demo runs like this with current spec cars. Wouldn't it be extra information or something? I thought that was why red bull always use old cars and wet tyres when they do runs because otherwise it would violate some rule
