    Should do a gear breakdown and how you packed fuel cost etc when you get home would be interested to see all the details of your trip around my home state. Saw you a couple of times Down south I just purchased my own himalayan and gear to do virtually the same tour. Few more hikes and climbs along the way :)

    • @freewayproject
      @freewayproject  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Hayden, yes I was thinking about doing 2 videos one on the bike and the other on the gear, what I took, what I used, what I didn't use and what I might add next time I still have a few more thousand km to get back so a few more episode to come before the gear videos.
      Have an awesome trip and have fun hiking, I am sure you will as anybody would be fitter than I am at the moment 😂😂😂 which will make it a lot easier.

    Dude, what is the brand of your fantastic tent?

    • @freewayproject
      @freewayproject  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tent is a Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL2, I got it for thru hiking so it’s super light at 900grams, but great for motorcycle camping as well as it’s light and small. It’s 7 years old and in the same condition as when I bought it. There is a newer version out which has a side door and I think would be better as it would make it easier to turn around in the tent, its just once you have all your gear off the bike in the tent on one side of the tent you need to have a bit of flexibility to swap ends.

    • @richardwalker4518
      @richardwalker4518 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@freewayproject OK, thanks Joe, thats a great steer. Checking their website it looks like these Tiger Wall models may be discontinued, but there are plenty of other ultralight models to choose from. If they can last 7 years and still going, that assures the money is well spent. Enjoying your videos, so keep em coming!
