Hello! So there is a limit of 2 mics total with this particular model. I think the Maono AM100K1 allows for the connection of an additional lav mic through a 3.5 mm Jack. So 3 mics total. Hope this answers your question !
I think it’s just the time it takes to process through the system but most mics have live monitoring. So instead of listening to the mic through your computer, plug the headphones into the mic itself. This should eliminate the delays

if i had a non xlr mic like the hyperx quadcast, but has a xlr to 3.5mm, would it work with this?
If the mic needs 48v of phantom power to work, then no. You would then need the model of the Maonocaster that comes with 48v phantom power .
It has 2 mics inputs. Can you add more microphones than 2?
