It’s been 12 years since the toy line ended and Bionicle refuses to die! My biggest wish is to see a return to the original storyline with the same toy models but with improved articulation at the knees, elbows, head and using a beautiful balance of old and new pieces.
Essenger has something of a Celldweller quality about him (which might be why he's on his label). Him and Cryoshell work so well together, this song is brilliant!
I was very pleasently surprised by the unclean vocals at the end. it feels like this would have been a song used in the 2010s if bionicle had continued. I'm so glad that essenger exists :D he is one of us and is doing wonders for this community

When I was a kid, my favorite toy line was Bionicle (gen 1), I got a lot of them too. I credit a lot of the thinking behind the story and pieces and creativity and all that good stuff that it had with my ability to now become a software engineer as my full time job. All the detail and work put into Bionicle gave me so much more to think about than many other toy lines. Thank you
There's something about watching a creator listen to a filk song about their work and seeing them realize the references, as the singer and listener's emotionions and thoughts seemingly synchronize. The same thing too when I see the look in his eyes when he read the letter. That feeling of realizing that not only was your work someone's childhood, it was their reason to keep going. Bionicle was a huge part of my childhood, the characters i made and the storys to go with them stay with me always, the main bionicle story itself is so broad and epic and theres nothing like it, out if all the modern movies and storys none can compare to Bionicles creative story and world, ive had bionicles since i was a tot and now im 23 and still have them all and ill never stop playing with them, one day im gonna pass them to my kids, bionicle itself is becoming tradition, even little cusoin knew bionicle all on there own and wanted some and he even knows the story i shared with him some of mine and were always building new heros or beast, and its not just him bionicle has comnected me to so many awsome freinds and its so cool to see what storys they create with there bionicles, thank you for making childhood awsome and setting the standerd for awsome

Bionicle is and always will be a core aspect of who I am I just finished getting all of the 2005 sets and im working on getting another year of sets. And seeing cryoshell make a another banger of a bioncle song after all these years made me shed a tear it makes me so happy that after all these years this community is not just surviving but growing and evolving and as a fan from the beginning I could not ask for more.

I really appreciate all you're doing to connect with the many people you've positively impacted over the years, it's really refreshing to see in this modern climate of rough and seemingly forced relations. Its clear that Bionicle was a labor of love and I'm glad that love is still being spread after all these years. I'm so proud of everyone working to bring new life-giving moments to the franchise we cherished as kids - its fantastic to see. I didn't realize it until recent years but Bionicle definitely helped shape who I am today; I believe its deeply esoteric story jumpstarted my own life long journey of spirituality, its rich cultural setup helped lead to my love for anthropology and learning about different cultures, and its unique beautiful design and creativity helped further my already existing journey into making art. Even after all these years you're still inspiring people in new ways - last year when I learned the full story of how Bionicles came to be I was deeply inspired by your resilience, determination and creativity. The song here "as above so below" gives me he same hype and vibe as when i hear the whole song of "gravity hurts" did when i heard it as a kid. I felt like sharing the experience listening to gravity hurts with friends as well as if any family were interested at those days, and as above so below is no different. Like, im an adult now but i kid you not i had my eyes watering a little in happiness and nostalgia after hearing as above so below. Also, the song somewhat sounds like one that would be something from breaking Benjamin or a rock band around 2006 or 2007, but in all the best ways and taken to a whole nother level (as in its way better but combines similar qualities from slightly older rock music).

Bionicle may have ended over a decade over but it still continues on in my heart and every other Bionicle fan (I still dream of buying Bionicle sets haha). Regrading the song I can't help but think of the part of the story where Makuta Teridax won and banished Mata Nui/was ruling over everyone when I heard it.

I've been listening to this song on repeat for the last 24 hours, and it's still giving me goosebumps! I can't wait to see what happens with the "Next To Machines" album! As I said on Cryoshell's channel (the day the song released) I will pay $100+ for a physical copy of that album when it releases. Also, side note, Chris (in the chance you see this) thank you! You have no idea how much Bionicle and Cryoshell still mean to me, all these years later!!! I'm currently in the process of slowly collecting all the sets I missed back in the day from G1. This sounds fantastic. I thought this was some random video that had been recommended to me for a while, but now that it's shown to be the real sht, I'm astonished. I miss Bionicle, and it'd be really epic if it could return once more - and not as this childish dark versus light it became in later makings (2016 or so). That dark feeling, being mysterious and so epic was the stuff!
I absolutely love 810incle day, this year's 810nicle was probably the best from my almost 3 year experience with the community, cannot wait to see what is in store for this amazing community in the future
I am so happy there's Bionicle content, no matter how unofficial it is. All of Cryoshell's songs are spiritually attuned to Bionicle, to me anyway. All of them have some sort of parallel, thanks to how deep and expansive the lore Greg Farshtey created. I hope he's doing all right, he and his family.
I believe there is a fan made bionicle game, all in the guidelines of Lego. If you look up Bionicle Masks of power, they have some great gameplay out. Demo is coming out early 2024.
Bionicle has been such a huge part of my life since Childhood, which it got me to learn Graphic Design and love Rock music. Listening to this music, relighted my memories of Bionicle. Honestly stuff like this gives me hope that LEGO might bring back Bionicle I got introduced to it with the 2009 Glatorian wave and The Legend Reborn movie since it reminded me of Hero Factory and I fell in love with the franchise Hopefully one day they'll bring back Bionicle and Greg Farstely to do the story as well since he was amazing with G1 story

Also, the song somewhat sounds like one that would be something from breaking Benjamin or a rock band around 2006 or 2007, but in all the best ways and taken to a whole nother level (as in its way better but combines similar qualities from slightly older rock music).

Bionicle may have ended over a decade over but it still continues on in my heart and every other Bionicle fan (I still dream of buying Bionicle sets haha).
Regrading the song I can't help but think of the part of the story where Makuta Teridax won and banished Mata Nui/was ruling over everyone when I heard it.

bionicle was one of my first big sets of lego growing up and then watching the movies, then listening to the tracks, seeing every commercial it was all just heaven to me and still is to this day to hear theres a revival coming has just blown my brain across the state

I've been listening to this song on repeat for the last 24 hours, and it's still giving me goosebumps! I can't wait to see what happens with the "Next To Machines" album! As I said on Cryoshell's channel (the day the song released) I will pay $100+ for a physical copy of that album when it releases.
Also, side note, Chris (in the chance you see this) thank you! You have no idea how much Bionicle and Cryoshell still mean to me, all these years later!!! I'm currently in the process of slowly collecting all the sets I missed back in the day from G1. What a nostalgic journey it has been!
This sounds fantastic. I thought this was some random video that had been recommended to me for a while, but now that it's shown to be the real sht, I'm astonished. I miss Bionicle, and it'd be really epic if it could return once more - and not as this childish dark versus light it became in later makings (2016 or so). That dark feeling, being mysterious and so epic was the stuff!
I absolutely love 810incle day, this year's 810nicle was probably the best from my almost 3 year experience with the community, cannot wait to see what is in store for this amazing community in the future
I am so happy there's Bionicle content, no matter how unofficial it is. All of Cryoshell's songs are spiritually attuned to Bionicle, to me anyway. All of them have some sort of parallel, thanks to how deep and expansive the lore Greg Farshtey created. I hope he's doing all right, he and his family.

I believe there is a fan made bionicle game, all in the guidelines of Lego. If you look up Bionicle Masks of power, they have some great gameplay out. Demo is coming out early 2024.

Bionicle has been such a huge part of my life since Childhood, which it got me to learn Graphic Design and love Rock music. Listening to this music, relighted my memories of Bionicle. Such an amazing Collab with these two amazing singers. I hope more music in the future and more stories from one and only Faber!!! Thank you :D

I got introduced to it with the 2009 Glatorian wave and The Legend Reborn movie since it reminded me of Hero Factory and I fell in love with the franchise
Hopefully one day they'll bring back Bionicle and Greg Farstely to do the story as well since he was amazing with G1 story
