Go easy on those rear tyres with all those doughnuts guys.....i speak from experience!!😂 This buggy is another one of those budget Tamiyas that runs far better than what it should bearing in mind its price tag! They are an absolute hoot out in the dirty loose surface car parks (and yes, mines definitely no shelf queen!) Straight out of the box they steer and handle exceptionally well, and are remarkably tough....even when entering them into speed challenges at 40mph they just wont break! Not only that, they jump well, really well!! I had mine going up a ramp last night, launching it 5 foot in the air!! And other than some of the chrome window frame paint flaking off of the (unpaintable?) body,it survived with no damage, mostly landing on all four wheels! Great to see a non blue example on TH-cam lads, looka great in that colour. As for the skatepark,my guess is it will fair better than the lunchbox! 😉 👍 👍
Well it’s our duty to use up as many RC tyres that we can, as there are unfortunate people that get their kicks from sniffing them 😂 It does a great job and I think we are going to give this a full shakedown when the weather allows, or maybe even when the weather is Papp, you know what it’s like here. With all the floods we should get an RC boat 🤣😂👍
@RCsoandso Come rain or shine I'm sure you will be out, and I'm also pretty sure that the Hola buggy will take whatever you throw at it! As for the tyre habbit, there's far worse things we could be sniffing than tyres!! 😂 😅 🤣 👍 👍
Looks good ripping around out there and it is cool to see one that is not blue. I have often wondered why they never offered any other color options for the body shells for them. Having a couple options would be great and not difficult for them to crank out a pile in various colors and make even more money off of us! LOL! I am glad you guys got a brief break in the rain. I know it has been a wet and dreary autumn for you all over there. It has been damp here but in a reasonable way, not the weeks of rain you guys have been enduring! Hopefully you get some more nice days over the holidays and can get out for some more adventures!
It does feel like Tamiya has forgotten about this buggy as it gets no care and the range is so limited, as in one! I’m sure we can get out over Christmas, we will have to as we will need a break from the nagging of our other halves 🤣😂👍
I think the BZ in it throws the power out like crazy, also the Chief Engineer might have issues with straight line, measure twice and cut once kind of thing 🤣😂👍
Rain capital 😂 your not wrong there. The holiday buggy is a cool looking buggy, and on my hit list, sadly its below a few others. But i’ll get there in the end 😁
The holiday buggy is one that sometimes i like, other times I don't... maybe because its always blue? Like its just always there and never different. Makes it unappealing to me because im not a box art guy...this looks much better to me. So why wouldn't tamiya make a polycarbonate shell for these? Or offer it in special colors? Special edition maybe? Maybe i would buy one then. Oops! Sorry for the rant 😂... Happy Holidays to you both!
I was saying the exact same thing, if they did a polycarbonate shell it would give it so many more options. We then discussed if you can get 3rd party shells, so you have just reminded me to look 👍
Great contribution to the holiday season, some Holiday nonsense! Brilliant fun, gentlemen...
Hopefully we can let a little chrimbo cheer leak out from the channel 🎅🏻😂👍

New drift buggy build! I really love my HB. I thought it would be junk at first, then fell deeply in love!
To be honest I thought it would be a rattling mess of a model but it really shifts. Recommend 👍
Love the holiday buggy, I’ve often thought of painting mine
Gives it a whole new outlook, just do it!
Now What?
Now then!😂
Great intro and run👍
You've still my respect for repainting this buggy.
Well as soon as the weather is better full testing will go ahead 👍

Looks like it’s hard to drive a straight line, so many donuts. Nice paint job, looks really good. 🤓

The list does never seem to go down, they just keeping making models I want 🤣😂👍
@ yup, its a vicious circle 😂
Noice 🤤
T’was a good day out of filming 👍
Paint does appear to be coming off? I hope you found the secret though!
Well we will give it a good run and plan for some tumbles so we can give a full breakdown on how it’s standing up 👍

Why did Tamiya keep the Holiday Buggy and scrap the Sand Rover? I don't know. Also I went to the zoo and they only had one animal, it was a ShitZu.
I don’t know what Tamiya have against the Sand Viper. True story I was the lead suspect of dying a Shitzu pink once at a party with food colouring. 😂👍
I have a seventeen turn on mine with the timing turned up. Please watch.
Oh I will definitely look for that over Xmas 👍
