Unfortunately that happens ALOT. When someone loses the love of their life it's hard to find someone who fills their place & it causes ALOT of problems between couples & often times breakups/divorce.
It's,so sad that Selena's life ended the way it did. You can tell that Chris still loves her. His voice gets scratchy like he's clearing his throat every time he talks about her. Hopefully he can find happiness even if he never finds real love again.

He had to love Vanessa on some level he was with her longer than Selena and had two kids. Even though I’ve heard things about her, I wouldn’t think of her as a no one to him.
@@LisaLisaCJ He did marry again and had children so he did what most would have done plus its healthy to move on which he did. Hoping that he is able to continue to live and hoping he is able to find love again...
@@sowande1146 that’s why when people go on about Selena yes he will always love her and tragic circumstances will enhance the grief . But I cannot imagine attempting to love someone and always in another’s shadow. He moved on and had to on some level loved his second wife. People need to accept that.

So sad that Chris had to go through this terrible loss and how it affected him and the people in his life. Hopefully as time continues to move he’ll find happiness , but the wounds of the past never leave.
I honestly think fans should lay off being so critical about something we only know a fraction of. If there was any argument among Selena's family & Chris especially in regards to portraying thier story with Selena, it's thier business, not be the fans. We're here to love & support them. Not criticize. Chris himself strikes me as a private person. Let him be.

That's not vague! He remarried soon after Selena died and had kids..that is not love.. now he's remarried to Melissa so he doesn't think about Selena, just what she gives him ! Whether your a celebrity or not. Once a senseless murder occurs. Those closest to the victim are never the same again. So I would never judge or say anything negative. About someone that has gone. Through that horrific pain. It something that no family should go through. Just hope he can some how manage and find joy/peace again.
I came across her music by chance, and what a woman, talented, sunny, filled with love, her passage was brief but she left an undeniable trace of her on earth, may Selena Quintanilla rest in peace, in love and in light😉

@@LisaLisaCJ yup she genuinely love chris coz if not why would she want to have kids with chris??she became alcohol dependant as well eversince their divorce just to numb the pain of having a broken family.it was posted on her fb page..maybe she got tired of trying to understand chris..that is why she decided to filed for a divorced..you are married instead of spending time to your family you are out there partying doing wild things? As a married person it's all wrong in chris part and now happily married to a man who respected her and lover her

God Bless Him! Noone Can't get over something like that. His 2 kids are So Precious! I watch Alot of his Interviews. I remember when he was saying in one of his Interviews that he would go to Selena's Grave when Noone is Around. I Still Wear her T-Shirts to Keeping her Legacy Alive. Chris and Selena were obvious soul mates. it would be incredibly difficult to completely move past such a love.
Love covers so much and gives us hope to move onward.
If you listen to his song he says I'll never love anyone like I love you. When he started his relationship with his 2nd wife, it was to numb the pain he was feeling, which if you listen to him today I don't believe he's ever gotten over Selena completely. He's just learned to deal with it better and move on with his life without her. He probably only married his 2nd wife because they already had one child with her and then after having their 2nd child and started to get older and more mature, he realized it would never work and even though she was willing to try to make it work, he realized it would be better to end it than hurt her more. Today, when someone dies suddenly like Selena did, you see griefs counselors come in to help with survivors deal with the pain, grief counselors weren't around then and the only ones he could count on were his family and hers. I believe that when he wrote his book he came to terms with what happened but he's never gotten over her loss.
There were reports that Vanessa divorced Chris because of drug and alcohol use. Chris also got engaged in 2018
Yup and probably one of the reason why the Quintanillas don't see eye to eye with him anymore because they felt like selena got replace when he got remarried and now engaged once again..probably they got hurt
@@reign_3090 I don't understand how they could feel that way. Selena's death was 1995. He waited 6 years to remarry. He didn't run out and replace her overnight. And any drug or alcohol use was to hide the pain of losing Selena.

Seeing them together you could see how much in love they were love like that never dies. The sad part is that not only was she robbed of her but the chance to start a family with him he seems to be a good person like she was. RIP Selena 😭😭

I understand Chris. The series that’s being made to tell Selena’s story is reopening wounds for Chris. And I don’t like that too much. I personally don’t want to watch the series. I’m not real big on it. Yes I’ve seen very small clips and trailers but anything past that, I won’t do it.

I don't think it's; cool to say who he loved more. That is disrespectful to his children, who visits the Q's. Chris must really want peace, even after Mr. Q dragged his children's Mother into the court case. I can understand some of Mr. Q's concerns about the money and Business Selena earned, and understand that Chris's name was used by the Q family. I wish all involved, the best!

His love for her shows every time he talks about her, they loved each other very much, I hope he eventually finds love again, it won’t ever be the same though. @addisperez8205 you are right , it must be hard for Chris to truly find closure in this chapter of his life, I just cannot imagine how it must be having the most precious love of your life taken away just on a blink of your eyes. Knowing under the circumstances that Selena was taken away it is life lasting heart breaking and even though he has tried to move on it has been impossible for him to do so. People say that when you lose someone this close, you never forget , you just learn to live with the pain each day. My heart and prayer go up to Chris, and hope he finds the strength to continue in the right path.
