I get emotional everytime we sing this song at church. I don't know how people live without Jesus. Between Corona, mom having rare cancer, and my father had heart surgery and a portion of feet amputated: all in less than a year. Its God and Christ Alone who has brought us through.

Then transferred or laid the sins of all mankind on Jesus, then God’s fury over sin was taken out on his son Jesus,because your sins were transferred from you to the Lord, and righteousness of the Lord was transferred to you. Praise God! What a blessed sight to see so many in the Lord, by far the best thing I've ever seen at the Royal Albert. Even seven years later, I have hope and faith in Christ, that there are still many brothers and sisters in Jesus in England.

Beautiful song, but the part that says the wrath of God was satisfied, is a doctrine that teaches that God’s anger had to be appeased because of the sin of mankind, so God the father took all the sins from all humanity, from the time of the Garden of Eden until now. Then transferred or laid the sins of all mankind on Jesus, then God’s fury over sin was taken out on his son Jesus,because your sins were transferred from you to the Lord, and righteousness of the Lord was transferred to you. This is the false doctrine called penal substitution. Nowhere found in the Bible

This song is a masterpiece. Not to mention, the orchestra wouldn't have been able to work as clearly and powerfully with a slower version.
