Don't know why you moved up at the start - you want to stay back if possible so mortars can get more shots off before they close in to threaten your handgunners
From my perspective it looked like my second line had line of sight issues. Of course that could have just been me and my line was fine to begin with lol. The mortars are also pretty good at not dealing too much friendly fire.

It is considered a grave sin to pause a battle ingame to give orders to your armies my friend. Good win though! WP
I really hope that pun was intentional! I must admit that I had a moment of weakness. Still learning how to properly micromanage range based armies.
