In this clip, Josh Norman talks about signing a $2.3 million deal, getting his first $10K check responsibilities and obligations to his family members that came with it. The Greenwood native addresses some of the struggles that he faced as a cornerback during his first two seasons with the Carolina Panthers. As the discussion moves along, he shares what details about his workout regimen and the way in which he improved his study habits. The Greenwood native talks about his one-on-one matchup with his former teammate, Steve Smith, during his third season with the Panthers. He cites that game against the Baltimore Ravens as the turning point in his career.
Later in the clip, Josh Norman details the Carolina Panthers' magical 15-1 season back in 2015, before looking back on an infamous scuffle that he had with the team's MVP that year, Cam Newton. He talks about the conversation that they had after the fight and how it helped propel them to excelling during the regular season as a team. He also talks a technique that he developed that would help garner All-Pro honors that year.

I'm a Seahawks fan and felt pretty good going into that Divisional Game against the Panthers. I work nights so I fell asleep before the game and woke up at halftime. 31-0 I couldn't f'n believe it. Absolutely rolled a tough Hawks squad. Score ended up close but it really wasn't.

The Saints are driving for the winning touchdown and Norman makes a superhuman leap for the pick. That was a hard loss, but I really respected him for making the play.

Yea those 3 yrs before 2015’s 15-1 reg season run were rough. Even a deceptively awful 7-8-1 record with a mid season slump 0-6-1 but won five straight including a playoff win (by 11 pts) so when 2015 came it was weird because every week most of those wins were close games. So that year was an adventure (and I’m not even a panthers fan) Even think that old nickname Cardiac Cats popped up a few times l.
