Awww… you gotta go for it! You could start with just making some of your favorite blocks in different sizes and then adding “coping” pieces around to get them to the same size. Put them together and call it a quilt. It wouldn’t be as wild and free form as his but it could get you moving that way. Good luck and thanks for watching! 💚
I love Dave. He's very talented and has a unique way of thinking. He has a very interesting life. His mom has been on a few times and she's great. My favorite quilt is the cheez-it quilt. Fascinating how he came up with the idea and executed it.
Dave's Craft Room is a killer! The way he incorporates the most unusual elements in his quilts to come up with something truly wonderful is a gift that I envy. Too funny, I just watched his " ugliest quilt' AND 'bonkers' earlier this afternoon!
I love the Quilting Marine. He uses quilting to help him over his problems (caused by what he has been through). I'm a lady veteran (Army, WAC, 1966-1969). I want more quilters to help support his channel (and give him the positive feedback he deserves). He is trying to help other veterans. He has helped me beat depression several times. I am now brave enough to try patterns that I thought were too hard for me.
I really enjoy his channel, too… I just hadn’t seen him active lately… I’ll have to go check him out again. And I think another video might be in order to include his channel but I’m going to update the description now to include him. Thanks for watching! 💚
The last time I heard from him, he was getting over a bad car crash. He was finishing a quilt made out of real camouflage fabrics from different branches of the military. Yes. I do worry about him. @@CopycatQuilter
I like him a lot too but I haven’t seen him for a while. I’ll have to go check in again for him. I love his story of using quilting for healing. Thanks for watching! 💚
I love Dave. He’s a hoot to watch. It boggles my mind how he gets so much done! I have trouble finishing ONE small quilt! I have a little trouble watching the quilting marine, just because I was in the Air Force at the end of the viet nam war and saw those guys coming back. It was heartbreaking to see the state they were in. His videos remind me of sad times, but I’m glad he’s quilting and doing well. I wish him well. His work is beautiful.
I’m always amazed that Dave just jumps into hand quilting or needle turn appliqué like it’s nothing. 500 blocks with 4000 pieces… no problem! Lol I enjoy the Quilting Marine too but I do understand that if you’ve experienced some of the same type trauma, it might be triggering. I hope you find the same kind of peace in your quilting… I know it’s my happy place to take my mind off things. Thanks so much for watching! 💚
I agree… I didn’t include him because I hadn’t seen him in a while and I was trying to include active channels. But I’ll definitely go see if I’ve been missing videos. He has the cutest dogs and I love how he’s healing himself with quilting. Thank you for watching! 💚😎💚
I subscribe to all these wonderful guys. I was interviewed by Sean last spring. He’s terrific! I just miss his lives though since I am in BC on Pacific time.
This video was fantastic Ginger! I cant imagine the time it took to put it together. Loved seeing this. I was not aware of Pat's channel so will have to go check it out. I love Dave's channel and the Sew Yeah team.
This is great! Thanks for putting this together, and I really appreciate the kind words. I’m familiar with Dave’s craft room but I need to spend some time checking out the others. Thanks! - Pat
I’ve been buying most of my fabrics from Sew Yeah since I discovered them in 2020. They are a great family. I adore Dave’s Craft Room! He is brilliantly creative and just so cute.
Is so much fun to discover fun new (or new to you) quilting channels! We all have so many different ways of looking at quilting! Thanks for watching mine! 💚😎💚
Thanks for the reviews. I have seen bits from all but one. Randow watches. I binge watch videos as I sew. I seem to need the background voices as long hours of silence in the basement can be lonely. I watch streaming channels sometimes but find if it is an intense show my sewing slows down. Lol i do watch reruns of series we have on dvd. It is like old friends in the room. Some have suggested books on tape but I am a person who sees the story in my head as I read so that stops my sewing flow. I truely appreciate the you tubers I watch. I do love your channel
Thank you!!! I’m glad you enjoy the channel! I tend to either have dead silence in the background or a lifetime movie as background noise because you already know the plot and don’t have to pay attention 🤣😆🤣 Thanks for watching! 💚💚💚
I have been subscribed to Sean (such a nice guy), Dave (love his energy and his freeing improvisational style-and the videos with his mom and his friends), and the Sew Yeah boys (great tutorials, but I have had to wean myself from watching their destash videos). I’m a relatively new subscriber to Pat’s channel. I need to catch up, since the last video I saw was his mini bargello. I’d like to see him do more improv quilts. I DO think that you’ve left out one of my other favourites-The Off Kilter Quilter Ian. He gives really clear tutorials, is a little wacky, and does great collabs with several of my other favourites. Thanks for sharing, and stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
Yup! There are more than you realize! I added Quilting Marine (Daryl?) to the description. Just hadn’t seen him in a while. Thanks for taking the time to watch MY channel! 😎😎💚😎😎
Sean says to tell you gday to you. I just subscribed to your channel. Thought I did after you were on Sean's live. But now I am. Enjoyed your Sean ripper tips. I received one of those that had the rubber tip on top. Had no idea what it was. Was looking on Amazon with quilt items and found it! Imagine my surprise it was a ripper and scrape off the loose threads. Don't use it a lot but it does come in handy once in a while. Thanks for your channel.
I never noticed Zach sews on the other side of the machine! Lol I never watched Pat. I will subscribe to him. I like helping new quilters. Check out Eric of Treasure Heart Creations. He does alot of scrap and crumb blocks. Thanks Ginger!
I love watching Dave. Someday I will totally wing it with a quilt. Until then....pattern follower!!! 😊

I love all these quilters, but I adore Dave!
He is definitely a fun guy to watch. SO creative!

He has amazing creative talent… he hasn’t made anything I didn’t love.
Thanks for watching! 💚
I'd never seen Pat before. But all the rest are well known. I would not miss Dave's Craft Room. He is one of my faborite quilterss. Thanks for sharing
Dave has a great entertaining channel… I’m on there every other Tuesday looking for the new videos.
Thanks for watching! 💚
Dave Craft Room is one talented quilter. Who else would dream up a Cheezets quilt?
That was one of my favorites! Lol

Fun video with creative guys who sew and are very talented! Thanks for sharing. I also enjoy Ian the Off Kilter Crafter.
I like Ian too.. after I filmed I realized there were a lot of other guys I could have included too.
Thank you for watching my channel 💚
The Quilting Marine is fabulous.
I love him too.. just didn’t see him for a while… I’ll have to go check in again!
Thanks for watching my channel… I hope some of it inspires you! 💚
I was going to suggest the quilting marine as well. He is one of my favorite quilting channels and very inspirational!

Gotta love Sean’s channel.
They are all so fun but yeah, Sean is like a quilty BFF! 😆
Thanks for watching my channel! I hope you find it just as friendly and fun! 💚
Thanks for mentioning me in the show notes!
Several people demanded it, lol… I’m seeing a volume 2 in the future… your channel is one of my favorites, too… I guess I have many! 💚
I subscribe to all these wonderful guys. I was interviewed by Sean last spring. He’s terrific! I just miss his lives though since I am in BC on Pacific time.
Hi Kelly… I remember seeing you on his channel. It really is fun to watch all of their channels!
Thanks for watching mine!💚

It was a fun thing to do and I especially wanted to include you for all the support you’ve shown me! 💚 thanks for watching!
Rob Appell and the Off Kilter Crafter Ian are two of my favorites
I like Ian and Rob, too. I just had to draw the line somewhere! 😄
Thanks for watching! I appreciate every view. 💚
Stopping at 4 is so horrible! We want more!
😆🤣😆 that’s a common theme in the comments here! I’m thinking I might need volume 2!
Thanks for watching… I appreciate you spending time with me 💚

You’re welcome! I just hope you get busy making a lot more great videos! You have a unique perspective and very artistic eye!
All the best! 💚
@flaminglotusdesign Hi Pat! I had not seen your channel but am looking forward to checking it out. Love the tiny piecing Ginger showcased.

Subscribed to Dave! He sounds fun ❤
Fun is the absolute best word for his channel. And creative. And fearless. 😆

I think a volume 2 or 3 might be a really neat thing.
Agree… I seem to have left out some other great channels like the Quilting Marine!
Two of T he Sew Yeah brothers are left handed.
They are certainly fun to watch!
And thank YOU for watching me! 💚🙂💚
Im a lefty too. If you ever see me with my Martelli ruler you'll notice its blue rather than red.
