Even as a sketch for a story, you can't jump from conspiracy to consequences without addressing how the conspiracy was exposed, what decided the consequences and how the consequences were implemented - and that's only in a sketch. You still need to fill in the blanks surrounding every significant moment in order to put the reader, viscerally, in the shoes of the protagonist(s). The key to doing this is to switch from telling a story (which is what a good sketch or synopsis does) to showing the story - which is a lot more detailed because seeing through the eyes of a character is all about perspective where what is not seen or shown is every bit as important as what is seen or shown (because characters are no omniscient but are present).

I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the story was. The main characters were not overdone or boring. It left room for romance but took care to develope the characters and accomplish their objectives first. This would make a good movie.

An apt statement about the nature of personhood and the dizzying sense of life in a world like the Matrix. What makes it most effective is the absence of any romantic entanglements between the leads. This is hopeful and sad at the same time.

There's a whole piece of this story missing. The rest -- as usual -- is boring, predictable, and repetitive.
