I ran out of V and G over the winter so I tried just coco for a few tubs and ended up with way more contam issues, poor yields, and dry outs. Many folks say just coco works as well as CVG, but found in my situation CVG lead to much greater success. It probably has a lot to do with having a really dialed in environment.

What’s your grain to substrate ratio? How many UB rice bags per tub?
I use 1 UB rice bag per 6qt shoebox, approx 4:1 CVG:Spawn
