My personal anti Covid19 programm starts today. I will try to upload some virtual aerial combat content everyday until I run out of footage.
Doing my part to aid the social distancing. I was always a pro in that regard.

Also, I just took a foray back into WT Sim for the first time in years, and since buying a VR headset. It's fun in it's simplicity, compared to the likes of IL2 and DCS. No engine management, just goose it and go.
@@dobiem1 because WT is old by now. The sounds are really not good. Gameplay can be fun
I'm a pro too lmao. Can we have some commentary on the next WT vid? Maybe do a dogfight with another and have both of you have commentary on it. Just throwing some ideas out there. Love the vids man!

initially I used stealth ammo again. But for some reason the impacts are not visible on some planes. Like the 51 and the Corsair. Maybe a connection thing?
except for the API, all MG 131 rounds had a tracer and the ammo manual for 1944 even suggests just AP-T and Incendiary-Tracer shells to be fired.
Also: people turn fighting in P47s in WT... absolute madlads

if the turn rate is similar then doing it to drain their energy is not a bad idea.
There’s times where it out turns my 109 but maybe people are hacking
Nah they COD WWIl player thinking they can outturn , outclimb , speed up , an have infinite ammo , while carrying 2x500KG bombs

As odd as it sounds... it's good to see you trying to defend and failing a couple of times! I find seeing how you do that quite interesting, a hard fought loss as goid as a hard fought kill (and much better than an easy kill).

I wish IL2 had WTs level of visbility, i have great issues with spotting contacts and tracking them trough manouvers, especially when they fly over forest. Other than that IL2 is simply better imo.

that said the contacts can be seen in WT from ridiculous distances and against ground cluttter from far, far away. its not realistic, but totally fine in WT. But nothing I would like to see in Il2

So how is WT SB today? Alive, messy..? I quit about two years ago and switched to Il-2, but have been recently considering having some fun with stuff not available in Great Battles. Is it worth it?
I quit WT SB much more recently than you, I did it in november. First of all, after switching to Il-2 I just cant stand looking at WT's wrong cockpits. Second, flight models in Il-2 are much much better. And WT SB is full of cancer. We still have the Be-6 and BV-238 spam, but new cancer have joined the party: the A2D, the Ju 288, the Me-264... The community is getting smaller everyday as well. Theres absolutely no reason for someone to go back to it
@@andrealves2630 Yeah certainly a lot of problems, exploiters and shit. Nothing for playing on a daily basis. But i think its very good for recruiting the Sim folk and for having some fun and change of pace.
@@SheriffsSimShack oh yeah, it is great for that purpose. I think im gonna go back to it to spread the word of Il-2 in the chat lol. But seriously, I think WT is great for people who are beginning to play sims. Its great for learning how to control aircraft properly

Sheriff's Sim Shack yeah, I started playing sim with it, still play it as I don’t have the setup for IL-2 or DCS, not facing some great players so it’s not hard to pickup, but a lot of “Zombers” which kinda ruin the game mode because they just suicide bomb and end up gaining from it

I was partially tabbed out, then tabbed in and was not looking at the chat. Where usually is not something happing anyway. Doesnt matter since I just took of again and shot him down.

Damn this is nice I remember chasing a bomber to get jump by four planes to shoot them all down. Than on my way back to base I was looking at my phone and flat spinner but recovered but not in time before hitting a tree lol

Were you using the MK108? Those planes were blowing up easily.
Yes. I was using the 20mm on the Bf 109 G-2 and it was fine. But it seems that the higher tier fighters are much sturdier in WT (for some reason) and the Mk 108 is worth the downsides.
I noticed three P-51s put themselves into stalls - how on earth did they manage that?!

OMG...are you infected? :D I'm a relative newcomer to IL-2 and I have a severe love/hate relationship with WT (I don't play Simulator mode). How does it stack up to IL-2?
Usually you dont need to take a look at war thunder if you already enjoy BoS. Its just "stupid fun" to get back into it after a while.

Could you share your warthunder setup, especially the joystick sensitivity？ I'm a freshman in Warthunder SB, and I found I can't make the joystick stable to trace and shoot. :(
100% sensitivity on all sliders and a value of 2 on non linearity. But only on the pitch axis

What do you think about warthunder flymodel? Better than IL2? worse? or equaly?
Il-2's flight models are MUCH BETTER. In WT its impossible for a 109 to get into a spin. Thats fucked up
the FMs of Il2 are clealy better, but coming back from Il2 I was surpirsed that the handling wasnt thaaat far off.
@@SheriffsSimShack I feel that WT's aircraft handle great, but thats the thing: they feel too easy to fly. Like I said, in WT it is simply impossible to spin a 109. Ive tried that for 3 years and never managed to do so
How big of a difference is there from the normal G-14 and the G-14/AS

I'd have to own every premium model they have on offer. I'm not complaining about their business model. I just know myself very well and know I don't want to be that broke if I got hooked. lol
@@spazmodicusrex6629 I have over a hundred premium and rare, ultra rare vehicles. I know what you are talking about. I have heard some goofy stuff said about war thunder such as all the planes fly the same. I have my complaints about war thunder , however I feel the game is under rated for the simulator stuff. They have come a long way to improving this and it shows. They even killed the scenarios where whole teams would just spam be 6 the whole game killing the fun.
@@shorelinesquirrelsnfriends1840 I'll admit, my fanboi is IL-2 all the way, but I got hooked back when the great grand daddy (IL-2 '46) came out. I have my complaints about IL-2 as well, but any gamer that's a fan of a series has at least something.
I never played WT, but I actually do think the videos of arcade mode I watch look fun. The only complaint I have is that rarely a WT player will try IL-2 and find that it's not what they expected and spam chat poopooing it. I'm not saying either game is fully sufficient in a person being able to fly a real plane, but IL-2 comes very close. Like I said though, I can't speak about WT as I haven't tried it.
