I've had some people asking me about doing live speedwrites over the last few years. Unfortunately these days I don't have much time outside of sample development to write music (I do hope to change that slowly), but the shorter form aspect offers some more accessibility in that way and more importantly, they're a good brain exercise with nothing to hide behind. Also there's the technical aspect of more transparent and on-the-fly demonstrations of the libraries. So here's the first live, very casual speedwrite that I recorded the other day (inspired by a hike I took).

Gorgeous work, Jasper. Very interesting to see your workflow, like a window into your mindset. It is quick and confident. I hope you can find more time to write.
It's not just about the amazing libraries you make, I think it's all about your talent, your undeniable talent, the way your make those instruments breath, the intervals you use, harmonies etc... I just love your music, please do write more!!!

While I'm trying not to put a specific date on Vista II (the main, core Vista II library that is), I do think it will be out this year, following multiple other releases. Best - JB
