My ex is a doctor and caught covid after being double vaccinated with moderna. I was not vaccinated and caught it also. I had a variety of minor symptoms, while she only had 3-4 symptoms but hers were way worse than mine. I’ll stick with my natural immunity;)

I work in healthcare. All of my patients, when they are admitted to the hospital, are given a community pneumonia diagnosis. Even though they come in due to accidental overdose, complications due to cancer, etc. I see them the day before they’re admitted to the hospital, and they don’t show signs and symptoms of Covid. But the hospitals have learned to have an easy diagnosis just in case they need to slide into the COVID-19 diagnosis.

All immunity derived from vaccination is natural immunity because it was produced by your own immune response. The only immunity that could theoretically be called "unnatural" would be monoclonal antibodies derived from humanized mouse cells like Joe Rogan and Trump received.
@@amarreder6241 Theyre probably working on it still. Seems like a type of study that would be hard to sample for as you would need both a confirmed infection and a confirmed vaccination. With most people who were infected being asymptomatic, just riding out the infection at home, or now being dead there may not be a good register of potential candidates at least from a US perspective. Perhaps in a country with more robust testing and tracking though.

People who have had Covid have immunity for around 6 months. That's true. Vaccines provide immunity for around a year. We are all vaccinated against multiple diseases. If you went to school you have to be vaccinated. Vaccines are nothing new. Why do you think vaccines are more effective? Because you don't have to wait to catch the infection and you can get ahead of the virus and increase the community's immunity against it. If you don't do that, the virus will mutate and become a different strain. Then your immunity through getting the infection before also reduces.

I love when they give statistics using a time period that starts in January when a significant number of people were not even allowed to be vaccinated at that time. Let’s look at May-now and look at vaccinated vs. unvaccinated deaths and breakthrough case numbers. The numbers are so skewed it’s sickening.

I'm fully vaccinated, however, I believe that if a person wants to get vaccinated good for them and if they don't I hope they never get sick. Two weeks after my second vaccine I lost my sense of taste I was told it would go away and I would regain my sense of taste, however, it's been 10 months and to this day I still can't taste food like I used to.

If you use Our World in Data and add up the deaths per million in the 18 most vaccinated countries and then compare the deaths per million in the 18 least vaccinated countries, you see that the death rate in the most vaccinated countries is around 2.5 times the death rate in the least vaccinated countries.

@@miam1074 I have not heard this. Can you post a link to they say 5 months? I have read a test that only had 8 months of data so they said immunity lasts at least that long. They did say if you had a serious case your immunity lasted longer than if you had a light case of covid.

Nobody is talking about quarterly boosters. They're even advising against boosters now except for the most vulnerable. Do you have any idea how much it costs to treat covid, remdesivir, antibodies, etc? The amount it cost for all that treatment for one person adds up to more than 1,000 vaccine shots easy. Looking at the total cost of a hospital stay, it can surpass what 10,000 shots cost real quick. There's way more money in treatment opposed to prevention and mitigation. Math is not that hard.

The problem with mandated vaccination is that it does not take into consideration natural immunity. People that have already had Covid have a 6 times greater immunity than vaccinated people, and have a greater chance of complications from the vaccine.

Especially since many die from the flu (because like many illnesses, it can lead to pneumomia which is what takes you). We had a family member die of the flu 3 years ago. Another, 44 years old, almost died when there was a severe outbreak years ago. I remember when the hospitals here were inundated when we had a severe flu outbreak in the past and people were seriously ill and there were deaths. But no one was freaking out over that.
If I was nasty coughing up gobs and feverish I would feel bad getting a coworker sick. Otherwise, things happen. 99.7%+ survive and mostly old and infirm die, leaving young and healthy nearly unscathed. I work in healthcare. All of my patients, when they are admitted to the hospital, are given a community pneumonia diagnosis. Even though they come in due to accidental overdose, complications due to cancer, etc. I see them the day before they’re admitted to the hospital, and they don’t show signs and symptoms of Covid. But the hospitals have learned to have an easy diagnosis just in case they need to slide into the COVID-19 diagnosis.

With most people who were infected being asymptomatic, just riding out the infection at home, or now being dead there may not be a good register of potential candidates at least from a US perspective. People who have had Covid have immunity for around 6 months. That's true. Vaccines provide immunity for around a year. We are all vaccinated against multiple diseases. If you went to school you have to be vaccinated. Vaccines are nothing new. Why do you think vaccines are more effective? Because you don't have to wait to catch the infection and you can get ahead of the virus and increase the community's immunity against it. If you don't do that, the virus will mutate and become a different strain. Then your immunity through getting the infection before also reduces.

If you use Our World in Data and add up the deaths per million in the 18 most vaccinated countries and then compare the deaths per million in the 18 least vaccinated countries, you see that the death rate in the most vaccinated countries is around 2.5 times the death rate in the least vaccinated countries.
Without removing from the list the vast majority of people who died WITH the rona as opposed to FROM the rona, this is meaningless.

And I just saw a commercial on TV where people were sitting around talking about the vaccine whether or not to choose to do it and the commercial said what if you went over to somebody's house and gave somebody the disease that killed them you really want people to die? And so basically the commercial was attempting to say that vaccinated people couldn't transmit the disease and they were using that as trying to motivate people to get the vaccine. The problem with mandated vaccination is that it does not take into consideration natural immunity. People that have already had Covid have a 6 times greater immunity than vaccinated people, and have a greater chance of complications from the vaccine.
How about those who have recovered…? Why no mention of natural antibodies vs vaccine?

Unvaccinated people are not allowed to fly. So the omicron variant that spread to so many countries was spread by vaccinated people. Also, here in Canada we are about 90% vaccinated and since you can get and spread covid vaccinated or not, it statistically means you are 9 times more likely to get covid from a vaccinated person.

Especially since many die from the flu (because like many illnesses, it can lead to pneumomia which is what takes you). We had a family member die of the flu 3 years ago. Another, 44 years old, almost died when there was a severe outbreak years ago. I remember when the hospitals here were inundated when we had a severe flu outbreak in the past and people were seriously ill and there were deaths. But no one was freaking out over that.
If I was nasty coughing up gobs and feverish I would feel bad getting a coworker sick. Otherwise, things happen. 99.7%+ survive and mostly old and infirm die, leaving young and healthy nearly unscathed. Why aren't they asking if all the negative vaccine side effects with a certain percentage worth it when most will survive without several sickness and add to herd immunity.
I used common sense--washed my hands, sneezed into a handkerchief, stayed home if I felt sick.
