Robbie, the civic wouldn't start because it was so low on gas LOL, mine does the same thing and you usually have to turn the key until you hear the fuel pump come on, do that a few times and then it will crank.

I have a 95 cx hatch and I also have issues starting sometimes. If it is below a half tank it happens most often. I usually make sure there is enough gas in it (duh!) But I prime the fuel pump 3 ish times by turning the key all the way and not starting it. Then she usually fires right up. Hope this helps!
hey mate, troubles with starting could be related to the fuel pump relay, when they get real hot they tend to stuff out, chuck it in the fridge for a few min to cool down and see if it starts up then.
Just watched your light install video... Here's a budget tip . Get a fun noodle.. Cut it in half long way.. 3m double sided tape em to the wall to stop damage from door hitting wall when Emerson opens your door to fall... Stay committed
Congrats on the seats going in easily and successfully. It might be your main relay causing the no start. My 90 hatchback was doing that on super hot and humid days. $20 on ebay for a relay and now it starts right up. Listen for the click when you turn the key.
My guess on the civic is the distributor/wires or the fuel pump, same problem will my teggy some days would start some wouldn't ended up being the dizzy / wires but fuel pump can also be intermittent working just turn the key and see if you can hear it prime

The Civic not starting is probably a fuel pump. Listen when you turn the key to "run". If you don't hear a whine from the fuel pump it means you need a new one. And sometimes it may start and sometimes it won't. Had the same problem with my 350Z. Chrisfix has a good video about it.
There is never an end to the civic, you guys can keep it going with performance parts as well, like an electric fan, a cold air intake, and a bunch of other parts where you dont exactly have to break the bank, relatively speaking.

Have u done a tune up cuz my civic was like that when I bought it and then I did a tune up and then I did not have a problem ever again with starting it again. Cuz the spark plugs make some fire with gas to turn on a car. So after turning on a car for years, the spark plugs ware out so u need new one. And that's why u need a tune up. And also replace the spark plug wires

I know this video is old l, but that no start issue could be the fuel main relay, especially if it's really hot. It'll start in cold, but in the warm, they quit working
Check the main relay behind the glove box, usually the solder cracks on it, so re solder it. Pretty common problem on all hondas civics 92-00, since the main relay tends to get hot, then you shut off the car it cools down a bit, you drive it around again making it hot again, making the solder crack over time. Super easy fix.
Probably low on gas, but there sh oil uld have still been residual pressure in the fuel system. Sounds like its leaking down and pressure is low. Check fuel pressure. Probably needs a fuel pump.
Sounds like the engine might be flooded if it started later, not low on glass. You might need to replace cap and rotor, as well as clean out the cylinders
ill save u alot of headache on the no start. get another ecu.. they 20+ years old and in the summer heat will lose connection to fuel pump and it wont prime .. if u mess with it enough itll finally catch.. so next time it don't crank turn key to ON and listen for pump prime. u can test pump relay left side of steering wheel aswell but they nvr seem to go bad. still have a spare in my glove box from 8yrs ago when i discovered the no start problem with mine
can you put electric windows in it? i mean you´re running the "racing" interior and all this but i mean, would be a nice video since i think alot of us have civics with those "analog" window sticks you have to wind up n down
Ive heard you mention turbo a few times with the civic, if you do end up going turbo could you review a few boost gauges off of wish? Ive gone through 3 and all were junk! I decided to go with a brand name one now! And also window tint would look sick!!
You should remove the reat seats and do a harness bar install for some wish racing harnesses. Would love to see that. Would be cool to see strut bar installs too.
Just remember that seat bracket is only thing preventing you either being strangled with a belt or your face smashed into a steering wheel. You can Jerry Rig everything but safety and brakes.

My civic used to the do the same starting issue, new fuel pump, sock and filter fixed that. Also try priming the pump longer or multiple times
