With Demko still out, it's a HUGE pull. Don't get me wrong, I love Silovs, but the guy wasn't top Canucks Caliber. 'The Lank' is a HUGE draw, and is the second Iron Wall in front of the Canucks net alongside Demko. HUGE moves, hoping Lankinen stays healthy!!!
One of the reasons Hughes had so much trouble during the Preds series was because of Sherwood, and he really wanted to have the guy on his team rather than having to face him again haha
I want to see what haapens once Joshua comes back. Do they put him and keifer on the same line and just hit whatever line they pair up against into the grave? Or seperate and have 2 lines throwing constant hits?
The canucks were/are at their best when they have an identity. When they went on the cup run vs the rangers, they were loaded with character guys. Gino, Momesso, Diduck, Hunter...to name a few. They haven't had a lot of that in subsequent years but with Tocchet, they seem to be returning to that. They have skill guys and then some meant and potato players...who can put the puck in the net too. I think they are one more addition away from being a scary team
Canucks got 1 league leader in hits on the ice right now, and last year Joshua was league leader in hits 3 months into the season-once Joshua’s healthy, the Canucks icing him AND Sherwood’s gonna make the team a real heavy hitting machine
Sometimes good players who don't turn out because they don't fit into the coaches/team style. I think the two additions to the Canucks will fit in perfect under Tocchet and you can see that already.
I was so incredibly hyped when i saw that we signed sherwood. My friends didnt understand. But i hated watching him absolutely harass the canucks squad in the playoffs. Happy hes on our side now
If we didn't have Lankinen, we'd be at the bottom of the standings with Silovs! We need Demko & Joshua back to be a playoff & cup contender. And we need to beat those hard teams like Winnipeg, who have 12 wins in 13 games.
My Canucks have been a fair bit inconsistent to start the season off. However, I’ve been saying all along that the team needs a few weeks to start to understand each other better before we jump to any conclusions. Well, the last couple games have shown that the nee acquisitions are starting to gel with the core roster. Looking forward to see what happens after Christmas once these fellas are really tight with one another. 😎🍻💙💚🤍🎉👍🏻
As a Canucks fan, absolutely LOVE these new signings, especially Lankinen. No chance we would be where we are in the standings without him

Having Sherwood as a last name and being a hockey player is so fitting
Nominative Determinism at its finest
almost as good as Peter Puck.

I said he *sure would* be a good pick up...

sherwood in the one game i saw was also insanely good on the forecheck, just won every single puck battle
I have lankinen and Sherwood on my nhl fantasy team, and every time the canucks play they rack up so many points.
Loved how Hughes was happy that we got Sherwood specifically because he was such a pain in the ass to deal with in the playoffs
Sherwood doing justice to Dave Babych's 44. So glad to have him in a Canucks sweater this year.
old Babych fan here too...Mr. Reliable :)
Bert? 😅
Sherwood in Vancouver and Koepke in Boston are the 2 most surprising forwards this year so far for me

thanks Chef Allvin
He’s becoming the new Dakota Joshua. They said they wanted to find another one, and boom here he is.

@ that’s going to be hell playing against in the playoffs. Plus, that will help set the tone of what’s expected come crunch time

I WISH the Oilers had a GM like Allvin. What a tire fire the Oil are to start the season.

If petey can play the way we all know he can play, Canucks will have the best contract management by far
Sherwood also has a Amazing nickname it's chief keef
LMAO, love it!!!
He's Japanese not an Indian
Sherwood is going to be a great player in the playoffs, if we have long series hes going to tire the ther team out which will help us so much
And his family make decent sticks, go get em Kiefer

Contrast to Stamkos who found himself a perfect retirement home.
lanky is so damn good. how do canucks have 3 starters lmao
Silovs had a great playoff appearance but is still questionable with his regular season starts
Sheriff Sherwood's in town
The canucks always had a reputation of being one of the softest teams in the league. With sherwood and joshua I'm glad to see that changing
Wish The oilers got him
If they can offload Petey for some useful players then this team would instantly become cup favourites.
Canucks fan here and my team is hella boring
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ur mother is Hella boring
first
You're antisenators coverage is ridiculous. Make a video about Gaudette. That is real value
