Hi. I enjoy watching your shopping. Interesting choices. Wanted to clarify what you said about Dr Suess banned books. They weren't actually banned. The publisher decided to not publish 6 titles anymore due to the way some characters were depicted. Libraries began pulling the books from their shelves, not to ban them, instead to protect them from being stolen (checked out and never returned) or simply taken from the shelf and not checked out. It was a huge issue at our library and after the "hullabaloo" passed most books were available again. Keep up the thrifting.
@@christinesbetterknitting4533 Racism in children's books isn't censorship. All that does as teach children it's ok to be racist. It's unacceptable. Adults can print and read all the books they want. Teaching children how to hate or make fun of others because of race is just pure hate.
Dr. Seuss Enterprises chose to discontinue printing of those books. That’s a private company doing what they see fit with what they own. Free enterprise. Not banning.

Hello! The two cream colored candle sticks with little blue flowers (not marked) at 6:05 are Pfaltzgraff. I had the whole set of dishes and all the “extras” at one time.
We were stationed in Germany from 72 to 96 an my mother collected Hummels from the PX an I collected signed David Winter Cottages. I think most of them are in the garage. It is funny what people collect growing up.

I remember Andrew's fight at GW over the pheasant glasses. That wacky woman grabbed some of the glasses as he was taking down the whole set and claimed she saw them first- although he had his hands on them first for sure. She called in the manager and was refusing to give him back the rest of the glasses. Her behavior was really terrible and I think she was hoping he would just give the set up to her to make her go away. I'm glad he didn't give in.

I was dying for you to turn around the Rae Dunn mug to see which one it was. You can usually tell Rae Dunn mugs, even turned around, because of the "fold" near the handle (to appear that the pottery is overlapping). Your new phrase is cracking me up. Every video you now say, "I'm surprised that there is no damage". I lol every time. Time for new drinking game 😂.

No regrets for the ‘Horton’ bag- it was a Target $1 (Dollar spot) bag from 5+ years ago. I used for kid birthday gift bags so bought a ton. They are doubling the original price! Lol

When I was little I had a set of prints that were the boy from the music box and a matching little girl. I may even have them still as I think they are packed with some similar sized ones in some art supplies. I didn’t realize that was Hummel. When my aunt and uncle were stationed in England she started collecting some Hummel figurines.
Condiment set. I use them for pansies mostly. I buy small clear glass glasses (mostly votive holders) for the flowers. The more you cut the blooms off pansies, the more they bloom so I end up with little bouquets all over my apartment. I saw one of the condiment holders, had a brain wave and now pick them up when I see them. I'll put other flowers in as well but use them mostly in the spring with one of my favourite flowers.
The little green book with the wooden bar at the end and the circular design is a photo album. You put a photo on the black and the white paper protects it against the sheet in front of it.
I think the little book with the black pages is a photograph album. The pages inbetween were there to protect the photos. Little corner pieces (usually black) were used to keep the photos in place. That is what old photo albums used to look like.
I gotta say I am glad to see you are peeking under the price. I think that if I am going to buy it I have a right to know who made the item. So, I am of the opinion that GW is doing themselves a disservice by covering the makers marks/labels. If I have to peel the price I will put it back on in a different spot so anyone else can see the maker.

Hi J. I've noticed before that you pass items that you shouldn't: on 1:25 in your video , under the orange sponge there is a brass trivet in shape of a W. These were made by a defunct co,. "Virginia Metal Crafters" & they are marked on the back. They made very high quality brass item. Their trivets are the initials of American presidents {W for Washington}. They also made dishes in the shape of leaves that are of high quality. They have dates on the back, but they are the initial time of manu. and not the actual date. Check for VMC on eBay to see examples. By the way "if I was a rich Man" song is from Fiddler on the Roof.
It's too bad the perfume bottle was broken.
