Over the next couple months I challenge you to write down how much you have spent on wax. Then take a look at what card you could've bought with that. You can still build relationships with your children and teach them the importance of money by buying an occasional pack which is essentially gambling anymore with how much these packs are going for. I'm not telling you how to spend your money, but I feel most people feel better when they aren't throwing it away. Just some thoughts after watching your video.
It's all ways important to have back up money for the hobby especially if you invest and to know your limit I don't see the hobby as to ruined your life you just gotta know your limit
You always hear about the good about the hits you get from sports/Tcg cards and never hear about the bad. The chase is unbelievably addictive and can most definitely ruin someone’s life if they get in to deep. This hobby is excellent and everyone needs to treat this as a hobby because that is exactly what it is. I personally have had a lot of lows in this hobby but if you just control your spending and treat this as a hobby then you will succeed in any way that you want. Whether it’s collecting or selling.

SEALED BOXES BEING SCANNED, BREAKERS STEALING CARDS, EVERY TOM , DICK AND HARRY BUYING BOXES OF SPORTS CARDS AND BREAKING TJEM ON PLATFORMS LIKE WHATNOT AND A VAST MAJORITY OF THEM CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE MOST OF THE GENERAL NAMES
