Similar experience with my 2018 JLU that I bought at the end of 2019 during pandemic fallout. Honda dealership sold it to me at Sport avg kelly blue book price but like you had 35K in extras. (as seen on my little channel jeepNdirt)
You are one lucky dog to find that. Gloss black on those bead lock rings and I would be good to go. You said there out there so Im looking. Found a 21 but just stock. Ill keep looking.
(Unless they’re lemons) I believe lightly used is the way to go on JL & JT’s. You’d be insane to buy new at these prices! I actually just saved $25K off MSRP in getting a ‘21 Gladiator Ruby with just 30K miles that was just a couple of options short of being fully loaded($39K). Plus brand new tires, oil change, state inspections, and only a couple tiny rock chips and interior scuffs. Accounting for inflation I technically saved $35K because a ‘24 with same trimmings would’ve been $10K more than the ‘21, excluding the new 12” infotainment screen.
Depending on which new one your'e looking at, they're offering some pretty good discounts right now on new JL's and JT's.
I have a 16 JK 3" lift 37" tires snorkel, rock hood, smitty built fenders rock sliders, dirt logic piggy back stainless shocks, warn winch, stubby VFR front bumper, VFR rear bumper w/spare tire swing out, Rigid offroad lights 62000 lumens(not a typo 62000), rock armor paint on fenders, matte black with monster green accents, prodogy P2 trailer brake controler, etc. This will have to hold me over until I find a 392. I always buy new. I was panicking because the 392 and 392 final edition is done in 2024 but now there is a final final edition in 2025. Which means I can get a used one up to say 2027. That give me 3 years to find a 392 used. I prefer a 2024 or 2025.
Don't know how DOT compliant those front blinkers are, but I guess you'll find out.
The small fenders with zero tire coverage is a far larger issue when talking about DOT compliance.
Great deal!
OMG what a find! That is NOT NORMAL my dude haha
This jeep is great.
Thanks
When you say you got it for "Kelly Blue Book", are you referring to KBB avg retail, private party, or trade-in value? Either way, sounds like you got an insane deal!
@@MotoringAdventures_KE7SAI was basically retail KBB paid 78k for it. 2022 with 16k miles at the time. This was over a year ago now so was a good deal at the time. They have come down in price a lot over the past year though.
@@ADV_LYF Yeah that's a really great deal! Especially considering the thousands in upgrades! I purchased my 2021 XR 392, with 16k miles, about 16 months ago for right around $76k. Completely stock. It's value has tanked though. Trade-in value is right around $55k now, with 43k miles, according to kbb.
😮 very nice build how much did you get that deal for… I just paid 37k for a stock 2022 overland gladiator 50k miles have my jk engine being rebuilt so kind of forced play
Please help me feel better for getting a ‘21 Mojave with 20K miles for $40.5K two weeks ago, as soon as I got it TH-cam started recommending videos of people getting JTs with crazy discounts 💔
Ya paid 69k.....wow😊
how does it drive with the 40s??
Overall really was not a fan at all of them. Jeep drives so much better with the BFG 39s. This has more to due with the width and weight though I believe. I have 41s on my f450 and they drive better than the 40s again it’s more because of the 13.5 width for turning and tracking in the roads that is the problem for me.
How much did you pay for your 392 Rubicon?
@@davidlomax8902 78k exactly how you see it in the video. Was KBB for it at the time.
do you know who makes those fenders?
