Wow. Glad I watched this! I purchased the stroller a few weeks ago but I'm not using it until our third baby arrives. We will be using for the baby and our toddler. This was very informative and honest! Overall I think this will work for us and where we live/what we're using it for. Thank you ❤️

I think it's great so many mom youtubers are reviewing the mockingbird. It really is such an aesthetically pleasing and affordable option for parents, even though it didn't work out for me. My review of the single stroller was the first video on my channel that got any substantial traction. I ended up returning mine because I really needed a telescopic handle bar. I didnt like how their handlebar required me to step closer into the stroller to have a comfortable arm position. My feet were constantly hitting that bar between the back wheels while I walked. I've never heard anyone else mention this feature though, so I that's why it's good to have a variety of reviews on youtube.

Thank you! I have been researching during my TTC journey and a lot of the higher price point strollers they seem to be aesthetics over function. Seems like the mockingbird is a better balance of both. Thank you for your videos!

I’m from Australia so I don’t have or won’t purchase this pram BUT I used the bassinet for my now 4MO as we didn’t have a capsule just a 0-4 year car seat. I loved the bassinet for my pram as it’s so good for naps while out and about or if they fall asleep in a walk you can just pop the pram in their room without needing to transfer and there’s no hassle of taking a car seat out of the car and buckling baby in just for a walk. My plan with baby #2 will be to get a capsule as it will be easier out and about but still use the bassinet for those tough naps and walks

I hate my mockingbird. It was the biggest bust purchase. It worked ok with my first born but we bought the second seat kit for my second and it it so hard to push and it can’t go over small sidewalk bumps in chicago. I ordered my second kit when i was 5 months pregnant and I can’t return it because it was delivered more than 30 days ago. I guess I should have waited to order it until 30 days before my due date but I wanted to get it checked off my list. I honestly am so irritated with what a waste it is. I can’t even resell it because of the recall and none of the consignment shops will take it. I am so confused how it go so many positive reviews for people who have two kids.
Ahhh so sorry your experience was so bad! I will say bumpy Chicago sidewalks are NOT GOOD with this stroller. But now that I’m in the suburbs and smooth sidewalks it’s a whole other ball game. I’m still using my double WITH the third scooter attachment and overall still worth it for me! I wish everyone had a great experience but unfortunately that’s not the case.

has anyone else noticed the little pocket behind the seat?! we’ve had our mockingbird for 2 years now & my husband just noticed it! it’s the perfect little slot to hold your phone!
@@Nicolelelagreen Omg yes! I put my phone there in the pocket with baby music so my little guy has music while he relaxes. Or rain sounds/white noise for naps!
Hi! I made the same mistake and didn't plan for a double stroller knowing we'd wanted a 2nd child lol. I've been debating this stroller and I'm wondering how you feel about it after a year? Does your pros/cons list still hold up? I appreciate you addressed the minor issue of needing to lift the front seat to click in the car seat- a mom at my OB said she didn't like it bc it didn't fit and I got worried but your video makes it seem like its not that bad and I could handle it. Have you had any other spacing issues having the 2nd seat kit installed and wanting to recline one for the infant?
Could you do a review of the babybay?!? so glad to have found another mom who uses it, but still apprehensive about purchasing it and would love your thoughts on it!
I probably won’t do a dedicated review on it because I’ve talked about it and multiple other videos but if you’re asking for an update I seriously love the thing and I’m also going to be converting it to a full size soon so I’m sure that will be in an upcoming vlog as well!
We got a single stroller because it was less expensive, but I wish we had gotten a double. Now were going to have to get a new stroller and in the long run spend way more money
Honestly looking back I didn’t even cross my mind to get a double stroller at the time. I’m sure it’s some thing a lot of new moms don’t even consider and that’s why I’m hoping this will help somebody out there before hand
For rougher paths, it made not be the best because its quite compact. But for easy smoother surfaces I think it works well! I've also only had it for a short time since it just launched so I haven't been able to test it longer term yet...
We didn’t like this stroller unfortunately. I wanted to love it but with the car seat and toddler seat it felt extremely unsteady & like it was going to tip over on our neighborhood walks. I felt like I was fighting to keep it upright. Definitely keep in mind where / how you plan on using any inline double stroller. I will say mockingbird customer service was absolutely amazing and responsive! I wish we would have invested in the bugaboo donkey when we had our first child.
@@Nicolelelagreen this was a couple years ago but from memory they said something along the lines of assuring me that they design their strollers with safety in mind of course but understood my concerns and allowed me to return the stroller & all extra parts (car seat adapter & 2nd seat kit) for a refund.

@@relrel101 as of now we have the double Bob stroller and LOVE it for our neighborhood/ trail walks. But we just had baby #3 which makes for 3 kiddos 3 and under so we’re looking in to getting a stroller wagon, specifically the wonderfold w4.
Yeah most inline/tandem type double strollers are going to be noticeably harder to push once you add the second seat. A side by side double stroller like the Bugaboo donkey or the Baby Jogger side by side double will be easier to push; Or you could also try the double strollers that have the kids over each other (like the Nuna Demi Grow); The Demi Grow pushes better but you sacrifice basket space. Happy hunting!

So it’s sold as a single to double but you still have to purchase the extra seat separately or does it come with both seats & adapter ?
Did you need to buy the second kit in order to use it for both toddler seat and infant stroller?

I purchased one for my twins. So far it is working very well.
My kids are 18 months apart and we have it. I find it extremely heavy and hard to push with two. There’s gotta be better options.
