María decided to take over a well-known and long-lived shop in the capital of Zamora owned by her father, Manuel Miano, ‘El Sayagués’, who in turn took over from her great-uncle Baltasar. This shop specialises in the sale and repair of tools and objects for life in the countryside, agriculture and livestock, and other handicrafts.
