    I also left out that DIRECTLY OVER the line where you cross into the Dreams property there is a SPORTS BAR. It's small, but lively and we went there about 3 or 4 times. Free pinball machine, 1 or 2 pool/billiard tables, and we saw instruments set up, so at some point they have bands in there too. It's just 1 more thing to add a little variety if you choose SRB. Both SCC and SRB have an "after hours" dance club, which we did not include in the video because we didn't go.

    The audio got a little messed up. For PARASAILING at SRB, the price is $140 for a 10 minute flight. The resort did suggest NOT using the beach vendors and using their selected vendors instead. There is a hut on the Preferred beach where you sign out the boats/kayaks, and you can sign up for party boats or parasailing there if you'd like.

    Just booked a 12 day to Secrets CC with the preferred package. This will be our second trip to Secrets CC and I can agree with your entire video, almost exactly my experience there. The butler service, I can’t even tell you how good these guys are. The beach service on the preferred is OUTSTANDING, these girls are walking the sand all day and your drinks will never be empty, tip them well please. 8 days on the first trip so we booked 50% more time to make sure we will be sated. Too much to add here. Great video and you get a thumps up

    Thank you for this video :) It is very well organized and helped us decide on Secrets Royal Beach for March 2024.

    Very good explanation. One question: How was the weather during September? Did they have any rains?

      Thanks for watching. Our weather was outstanding and September time frame also keeps the crowds down as well. It is towards the later half of Hurricane Season, so you have to be mindful of that, but if it really concerns you then you should consider buying Travel Insurance just in case a hurricane impacts your travel. We traveled roughly the same time of year to Cap Cana in 2021 and we did have 2 rainy days on that trip, but they tend to blow through rather quickly and the sun makes a welcome return in a little while.

    Thank you for putting this Review together.
    Question... Do either resort offer Snorkeling equipment and can you snorkel from the beach or do you need to go on an excursion in order to go Snorkeling?
    Thanks

      There's really nothing to see in the water at either resort. Akumal in Mexico would be a great choice for you if that's what you want (Just FYI).
      At both resorts, we took the Saona Island excursion booked through Mike Fisher. It had several stops + lunch on Saona Island, one of which is snorkeling at Saona (mostly Sargent Major fish) and if you bring a few dinner rolls from the buffet, the fish will literally eat from your hand. Very cool... but nothing comparable at the resort itself.

    Have you been to Secrets Akumal or Maroma? If so how would they compare to these 2??

    • @DeathScouter
      @DeathScouter  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, we have been to Akumal and have several friends who went to Maroma. I would say that if you're looking for a resort that is on par with Akumal or Maroma, then you will want to choose Cap Cana. Maroma has a large and amazing beach, but Akumal (similar in quality to Maroma) has the advantage of snorkeling (reef & grasses for turtles) right at the resort. You won't find too much to see in the water at Cap Cana or Royal Beach, but the SERVICE at Cap Cana will really make you feel like royalty.
