This song as a strong message to all of its listeners. We live life blinded from things we should know. When we could live a better life but are afraid of fighting for it. At least that's what I got out of the song. Rise Against forever!
long time since i listened to this album. i've forgotten how similar the chorus' vocals sounds to Funeral For A Friend - Escape Artists Never Die's chorus
This was the very first Rise Against song I've ever listened to. Except I heard it on the radio (about 5 years ago) and I didn't know what the song was called or the band. I went home and forgot about it. Then in a dream the song came back to me. The next day I went to google and typed in the lyrics which I thought I heard (most of them incorrect) and for about an hour of searching, I found this song again. Behind Closed Doors remains my favorite song, and Rise Against my favorite band

You just can't argue with the pure, hardcore epicness of this song. XD I love it so, so very much. Everything is absolutely flawless, Lyrics, vocals, guitar, drum, bass, energy....overall arrangement. Just pure perfection. It's one of those songs that grabs you, holds you, doesn't let go, and when it does, you only come back. Most don't get how hard and how much time it takes to create a song like this. Just an overall, completely kickass song and probably one of the best Rise has ever done.
Damn... Whoever posted this in 2006 was preaching good shit about activism. Seriously, that closing message was a pleasant surprise, and for me, might've been the most impactful part of this little experience, digging up an old favorite tune.
BubbaThe1st I get it, just a little confused. I mean there's nothing to SAO, its a shallow mess while Rise Against are a band full of truth and soul. Though of course this is my opinion.
I agree 100% with that! I found out about Rise Against Last year in about July, After seeing the views of there videos raised by like 3x in one year, I'm glad to see other people listen to Rise Against.
Didn't miss this track when I was into Rise Against but hadn't listened to it since then; like you just stumbled on it and will have it on repeat for the rest of the day

This song sounds like every single Naruto AMV made from 2006 to 2008
