bro was straight abusing the engine from the get. keeping it at high rpms in low gear then banging it continuously after hearing and noticing the knock
Oh yea that motor is already fixed just working on the videos and also currently building a motor with forged 636 internals should push 140-150 to the wheel on e85 or mr12
Im worried about this on my 05r1 raven definitely don't sound as bad as you're was but i get some noise i dont like sorry bout the bike sucks every time you buy a used bike you just dont know how many rides you will get out of them id be afraid of buying a new one now an days with all the lazy workers and cheap parts
Also that being said how you ride a motorcycle is way more important than mileage. If you are constantly doing pulls like this you gotta make sure shit is perfect.
Exactly!!!! I’ve seen sport bikes with 70-80k miles and I’ve seen some only make it 10k miles it’s all depending on how hard you are on it. Me personally, I’m not surprised I blew my motor just because of the way I rode the bike. It was totally worth it and I have no regrets because I smiled every second of it. Definitely getting a built motor soon tho 👀
At least you made it home. Same thing happened to me, had to push it 2 miles lmao

I said fuck it, it’s already messed up. Gonna be an expensive repair either way💀😂
Yo why does it matter about high rpms in low gear , long as its not past red line it shouldn’t matter
Same thing happened to me now nd here the mechanic told me that you damaged the crank, I don’t know how to solve it
I tried rebuilding mine and it immediately started knocking again 🤦🏽♂️
Ouhhh
@@TheMotorcycleSquider can you please tell me that how did you fixed your bike because I hve same issue, is it crankshaft or something else?
I never fixed it unfortunately I tried but it broke again
crazy that a $50 part cost thousands of dollars to replace.
Exactly I bought a new set of oem rods for super cheap but the labor was intensive
I literally just did the same thing to my r6. How much did it cost you to fix??
Never fixed it 😂💀
How much does it usually cost
So you hear it knocking and still proceed wack it to redline?
Yup I was in denial but once it knocked ain’t no going back 😂
@@TheMotorcycleSquider hats off to the engine getting you home. Hope its fixed.

Did u get a new engine or rebuild or did u just sell it?
Rebuilt the motor but it spun another rod bearing after 100 miles

Felt that, I got 4 for good years and 10k miles out of her second hand. She blew up
At 31k miles of straight abuse
@@TheMotorcycleSquider I would have been happy with that too
Don’t mind to share how much you spend on the repair?
Around 2 grand but the motor did not last ling
Seems like it’s really common on R6? How’s 17-20 year model.
Pretty much the same with that year model too since they didn’t change the engine
@@TheMotorcycleSquider oh no. Makes me worry about my bike @@@@@@
@@TheMotorcycleSquider so, the r6 engine kinda like “defective” ?
My bike lasted to 31k miles of just pure hell and rev limiter abuse😂
@@TheMotorcycleSquider 🥲 did you check ur oil levels?
damnit, she donee
New bike coming soon 🤫 on top of rebuilding the motor
You're so fmdumb by keep riding and going high revs when you clearly know there's a Rod knock.
I just did the same shit didn’t realise I was in 5th and not 6th and just blow it legit haven’t even had the bike for 1 month and well there it goes
Did you have to swap the engine or just the components?
Just components but it ended up spinning another bearing unfortunately
High mileage or miss a oil change?
High miles
@@TheMotorcycleSquider how many miles 🤔 I have a 08 r6s with 31k so now ypu got me worried lol
31k took really good care of it maintenance wise

What was up with it in the end? Mine literally sounds like.
Spun a rod bearing on cylinder 2
Decent cheers mate.
Did you notice the handling change of the bike as well?
No
Haha ya treated it like shit anyway
How so
