I have gotten that same information when staying at the Hilton Orchard in Singapore. However, I did a quick check in the morning at the breakfast restaurant with the staff there and they didn‘t mind. I don‘t know if that was out of leniency but I agree that it was a bit unfortunate at the Hilton Malta
Which alcoholic drinks where in the lounge at happy hour? Also whiskey or wodka, could you order from a card like the aperol spritz? Did you get an upgrade as diamond?

A bit disapointing that you are not allowed as a diamond member to use the main breakfast. Don’t know any other Hilton with these restrictions…
