I appreciate how well you slowly pan everywhere and what you point out is totally what we've to see. Nice to see someone who knows what he's doing and has great appreciation also. It's very sad what was lost.
Hi from London I know this this estate and yes it’s really breath taking. I have a holiday home not far from here. All the surrounding area is incredible it looks like a water colour!😀👍❤️
Why would anybody give this video a thumbs down?!? I give it a 1,000 likes if I could Thanks so much sharing this beautiful castle and telling of its history. How sad he lost his wife though I loved all the details of the furniture and statues
This house is just beautiful. The woodwork and the stone work is amazing. The fact that any part of this house was destroyed by fire makes me want to cry. Places like that in good shape just aren't that common anymore. I feel so bad for the owners of that house. I really hope their successful in saving as much of this house as they can.
This is my favorite by far! The history, the craftsmanship & design. LOVED the hidden door! I imagine there were more of those throughout? Thank You for the walk back in time!! They just don't make buildings like this anymore!!
Love your videos ❤️One of the best explorers out there and always happy to see Dale along with you. You two always make for a good combo 😉👍 can’t wait for the next one
I know this Hall. It’s been empty for a very long time. The fire destroyed it as you said a year ago but they were doing it up or trying to at least. So the majority of the damage isn’t by the fire. As you said it’s been abandoned. Its a beautiful area and place. My mums friend had their wedding there!
The grounds look amazing. Can only imagine what this place looked like back before the fire and all this decade and some of it looks untouched by mother nature. Just amazing wood work as well . 🤗😊💜😉 🦎🌵🌻🦉🌻🌵🦎
I'm so glad I'm checked your channel out this is definitely different and I love it because I love history and I love things old and beautiful they don't make things like that today!!
The drone pictures were incredible. The outstanding woodwork… glad to see they are saving some of the furniture…. No one does detail like that. It is a lost art.. happy to see that some of the place is still as it was..😢. Still stunning even after fire.. what a view from the bar room.. I can understand why Richard Burton would have loved this place.
Wow absolutely beautiful! The architecture❤ the furniture❤ The view!❤ I'm so grateful I get to see these places through your eyes Adam with Covid happening all round the world this is the only way I will get too see them.❤❤
What an amazing place, such a shame it was partly burnt down, some beautiful carvings throughout the building that wasn't damaged. Nice find lads, stunning location, thank you for sharing, loved the video Adam. I just googled it and it looked amazing in it's day.
Amazing explore! Two things. The first piece of furniture is actually a coat rack and umbrella stand. My sister has one from the Victorian era. Second, in the "reception area" that is actually the front bars of a horse stall. The dip in the middle allows the horse to feed on hay of the ground in the front of the stall. They are often used as decorations. This really is sad to see. Glad you did a video to preserve it's memory.
The metal thing in reception is actually a sort of fire seat/guard it sits in front of an open fire for people to either sit on ot more likely to put feet up to warm them after coming in from a hunt or long wet walk. I get why you thought it might be something to do with horse feeding as it is out of context. Hope you don't mind me pointing this out to you.
Thank you so much for sharing this. It is absolutely breath taking. I can only imagine what it looked like before the fire. I love seeing videos like this.
I am in awe 😮!? Thank you for sharing this video, absolutely love it !! IT'S sad that it caught on fire😔, but thank God there's some things that didn't burn.
Looking through your back catalogue of vids, and came across this. Instantly recognised it. If you go up the road opposite the gates, my uncle still farms up there. Spent most of my school holidays helping him out, and witnessed the changes of the hall. My aunt actually worked there when it was a hotel. Totally devastating how the fire has gutted the old landmark.
Can’t believe Iv only just found these videos. Love watching them and so pleased you are showing us round cause Im not brave enough to go in myself….ghosts!
Lovely place, the 1st dresser you mentioned is an old old coat stand, the square each side would have been used to place their umbrella and/or walking sticks, just live to watch you videos
Very sad that the owners wife died in the fire if I'm not mistaken. I hate to see old castles fall into disrepair let alone a fire. I wasn't too crazy that the owners made it to look modern on the front but that's my opinion. Thanks for showing the video because I loved the video also. Cathy🌻 Ohio, 🇱🇷
Wow only 1 person living in this huge place before the fire. Oh my goodness she probably only lived in a small part of the place. Great explore. Have a terrific week 🧚♀️💖🌟
I always love your shows. Some are more special than others. The dark side (fire damaged) contrasting with the bright, warm side brought home the fact it was a much loved home. Sad that the place is fire damaged. If I had the money it would be restored. History needs to be saved. Thank you for all your videos ❤
How horrible that the woman was killed by the fire and obviously murdered so the husband could be intimidated back into making the place a hotel or he was in on it, it’s a grand place real castle that one.
Absolutely beautiful, thank u so much for sharing this video. This is one of ur best, close ur eyes and just imagine all that beauty surrounding this place. I would love to have seen this in its hayday. Thank u again !!!!!
Adam, another UK Explorer did this property recently, but I much prefer yours, much more thorough. Some of the bits have been shifted, like the suit of armour, but it's an amazing mansion. I hope it can be restored.
Hey Adam awesome adventure my friend. I watch Ouija brothers Steve and griff they say about your channel. Keep going my friend love to see many more from you. God bless you. Much appreciated your hard work. Love from Coventry
saw this one originally on finders beepers. such a sad story a beautiful building and i bet it would be amazing to sit in the big windows watching the world go by thanks again lads brill video
Watching this today and absolutely blown away by furniture and architecture. Do you ever get contacted by the owners of the houses you have explored. It would be weird to be watching and see your grandparents or recognize family members stuff. Has that ever happened?
Such a shame with the fire. I could just picture what it looked like before the fire. What a beautiful place. The view was amazing. I would love to know how the fire started and who was in the castle at the time. I love this video. Thanks again for sharing. 👍😘
Stunning place its sad about the fire. A gorgeous location where you could have got some beautiful photos at a wedding as everywhere you look is photogenic.
@adammarkexplores You are a cheeky one aren't you. 😏🤭 I see what you did there 😄 thanks for the AWEsome video. Love your content and the way you explore. Amazing location as always. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely gorgeous what a shame I'm so glad though they are trying to save as much as they can that is history and someone put a lot of time and love and to making then hand-carved wood pieces of furniture unbelievably beautiful 💕💯👍
I appreciate how well you slowly pan everywhere and what you point out is totally what we've to see. Nice to see someone who knows what he's doing and has great appreciation also. It's very sad what was lost.
Absolutely stunning even with the fire. The woodwork and stone are incredible. Just loved it . Thank you for sharing Adam!🇨🇦🇨🇦

Hi, we lived just down the road on the coast. Thanks for showing this, we haven't seen it for years.
*That's awesome!*
Stunning place but such a shame about the fire , Medieval is 13 century, you said it was built 1873 so it’s Victorian.
