Nice guide. Will be using this for the Xbox. Stock up asap from launch and turn in when the Valencia update hits. I don't think I'll have it in me to try to compete with the top traders (to much time doing long boring walks) but I'll at least use it to get to art2 for the pirate coins.

BUT, where is the part 4 for where you show, in practice, the steps to maximize the trading profit AFTER you already leveled trading?/
Maybe I'm missing something here, but things that would be very nice to have:
-node efficiency sheets along with how to setup this specific nodes
-how to/if and how much more you would make to get the workers with the good skills on a cost/time spent basis,
-what is the best way to get to Valencia for profit trade ins,
-how much money it is realistically possible at the end of the road for trading.
-how long should we wait in practice to pile the crates for turn ins.
-and other details that even if I don't know trading I get the feeling that are very important.
Some of these you already covered but not on a specific profit perspective AFTER leveling up trading. And since you have such a good and clear way to explain everything, that would be amazing to have. Because even if you have to revisit some things again, it would be on a practical trading-end-game perspective.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate this guide. I've been trying to find relevant info about trading and what it takes for quite a while now. I don't think trading is ultimately going to be for me. So with that being said..... Processing for profit guide when? lol
Min/maxing processing is secret money for math nerds only, can't make a guide on it or else it will become self defeating :) But generally speaking, you process the same materials that people use for crates: Ash, Maple, Pine, Birch, Cedar, Fir, Acacia, White Cedar, Bronze, Brass, Steel
Great guide Mor. Can you address using the P2W residence and +3 Papu worker strategy from Old Wisdom Tree? Plus is a baby elephant of any use in crate movement to Valencia?

Yea, I suggest the blue stones at least to get started as well. They are actively in special deals under the price so that makes them ideal to get started with.

Not sure i missed this part of the videos, but if you were to recommend a city to "main" as a crater, wich one would it be? Considering the drieghan expansion too. Also, when is it worth it to connect grana to trent and use grana workers in trent workshops?
did you use your horses to cross the desert? using under lv 50 char? did you manually control them up to Valencia?

regarding bravant in trent, does the +2 ore packing skill apply to brass/steel ingot crates as well?
really good guide but maybe u should make a part 4 to cover active leveling trading too...there are many outdated guides for that aswell,it would have clarified it for everyone since there are many ways to do that. just my 2 cents , good job!
my view of active leveling trading is that it's a waste of time for 99% of players, so it's unlikely I will ever make a guide on it
Personally I just make my own Black Stone Powder from a refinery, 15 of them requires 30 rough stones. I do the Morghulis daily boss scroll which gives 150 rough stones each time. So basically you're getting 75 Black Stone Powder every day.

what is better to do now? to sell materials after processing or to make crates and sell in altinove?
Hey Morrolan, Skywing here. I just found this video surprisingly. I found it pretty comprehensive. I'm trying to level up my 3rd M10 at the moment (for logistical purposes of selling coelacanths, my other 2 M10s are permanently stationed at Port Ratt and ready to go at moment of notice). He is at Professional 10 atm. I am building up about 10 stacks of crates, about 85k.
Would you say should I turn my junk crates in at Arehaza til A2 , come back for the sharing buff and turn them in at Valencia city? Or should I turn them all in at Arehaza? What would be the total cost of turning in 10/20 stacks at Arehaza compare to turning in at Valencia City? - Also I practically have the magnate debuff all the time, so I won't have to spend energy/time to bargain.
And would it be enough to get from P10 to M10? Or should I wait until I get 20 stacks? (My Sandgrain and Valencia city stable can hold up to 10 horses each, Ancado and Arehaza can hold 3 each so up to 26 stacks can be stored).
stacking crate what make me feel lazy always, is there any chance using outside mouse recording program to simulate the same movement again and again until it done?
I just started trading. Will I still get some trade exp if I trade junk crates from heidel to altinova? I don't have enough cp to go past altinova.
One question here. If I have 1120 LT with 4 pearl items and loyalities, 273 cp, but can process for 9 hours with remote app, is it worth doing crates for me? Don't understand, if i have equiped +2 processor clothes, how can I raise my LT? If crates don't worth it, what is the best alternative for afk silver making?

if you need store more than 3 horse in arehaza, you can store the same amount of crates on a boat there

Hey Morrolan, awesome video! I have a question, with the recent event on BDO, my friend tried to combine Verdure Draught with the Perfume of swiftness, unfortunately they cancel eachother out, so I wanted to ask if Elixir of flowing time and Perfume of swiftness works the same way, since they're both Elixirs?
Are you sure? Tooltip on Draught says it stacks with Perfume, really curious as i'm preparing to do some trading leveling but i already miss Guild, GM and Pet buffs so i really don't want to lose that combination as well :(
There wasnt alot of final statistics, or maybe im just missing some of the points made. Like the loss/gain overall, or what is to be made after getting to A2 and repeating the process for pure profit (if theres pure profit to make) I have alot of down time and have taken an interest in training horses which is very time costly and isnt a fast process in any sense being im starting from 0 silver spent and breeding my way up to tier 8. Im very interested in trading as it seems more profitable to have going while afk instead of trying to make good money training horses. Like i said maybe i just didnt understand the spreadsheets..but maybe someone can help me out and try to fill in the blanks?? Any help would be appreciated! ^^
Hi. I am quite new to Trading and i accumulated like 50K trash crates and i am about to sell it for XP. I have some additional questions if somebody kind enought can answer it please. Can i transfere all my 50K crates to Ariha Haza by horse to storage and than from storage get it on horse like 2K crates and sell it to trader and repeate? Or i have to sell it straight from the horse to the trader? Last questione is do my city of origine have to be connectec to the Ari Haza trough nodes according to get most of XP/money? If I got an Artisan human with Ore packing skill in Altinova , can i do Trash Crate there and sell them at Port Ratt ? ( Great guide btw, very good job)
You can sell trash crates in Port Ratt if you feel comfortable getting your crates out there and storing them properly. I didn't put this in the guide because it only saves a few thousand crates, the logistics are more complicated, and it's more of a time sink. Since time = money I think generally people are better just doing Grana/Trent - > Arehaza for XP.
Noticed how you overstack to your character first and then you move it to your horse. Can you overstack it on your character and not put it on your horse, and then ride your horse so that it would be at normal speed?

so.. when you took 3 horses to valencia did you ride one all the way check it in then walk all the way back to grab ur next and repeat?
then... u have to take them out one by one return them to ur main city for each horse?
I initially used my fast horse to move the crates, and then bought cheap T1 horses in Valencia or Arehaza once I get there to use as extra storage. That way I could also ride the horse back when I was done.

Does the desert buff work at Arehaza? ...or just Valencia and Oasis?
Arehaza is not in the desert (its classed as outside), you will need to go to valencia City
Does the trash crates needs to be made from Trent or Calpheon ? Would be alright if I use Port Epheria?
Trent (or grana). I can't say whether it is alright but you get the free worker which is amazing for trash crates in trent so that alone IMHO makes it better.
At 14:45 there is something in desert that can kill your horse. What is it more specifically and how can I recognize and avoid it? Thanks a lot, perfect guide!

Instead of checkin your horse with crates can you just put those crates in storage and once you have all crates in Valencia you can sell all of them one by one?
you would have to re-stack the crates all over again, which would take too long and eat up your buffs
It will take more time, but buying black stones to grind into blackstone powder is very expensive when the cheap crystals can be done for less than a third of the cost. Initially it might be a pain going through so many items, but en mass like this, 35m from the bank instead of 110m (artisan processing) It is very much worth it imo. You can only make crates so fast and crystals come up on the MP in a constant stream. Just my thoughts anyway.
its essentially around 850 - 1150 silver per black stone powder this way, given RNJesus on the processing.
im guessing the stacking crates doesnt works on ps4 or xbox?

can you use storage transport for this method? that way you won't have to deal with moving all the creats yourself.
It's technically possible, but it is prohibitively slow and expensive to do so.
Just looking at the numbers, there doesnt seem like a good time to transition from trent, to grana. What would be the main factor to consider the change (xp added, or say extra unused cps....)
I'm not sure why you'd want to move between one or the other. I would say pick one to begin with that fits your schedule, commitment, and flexibility, and stick with it.
Wish this could be used for the SEA region...

Loyalty scrolls indicate "this effect cannot be stacked.* So I always considered them worthless since you either use just that scroll or you use other buffs which do stack, like food and elixirs/draughts. BTW Verdure Draught is 20% life exp so better than Elixir of Flowing Time, and in recent events there were a ton of Verdure Draughts handed out, so that would be my choice to use here.
The tooltip is confusing - the loyalty scroll just means you can't stack it with itself, which is kind of a pointless distinction (most of the game's tooltips are nonsense). Verdure didn't exist when this video came out but I added it to the spreadsheet as soon as they came into the game.
@@MorrolanTV Oh good to know. I'll actually start using the combat exp scrolls too now.
@@orionxavier6957 Ironically, somewhat contradicting what I just said, combat scrolls are not very useful. For some reason, even though every other source of combat XP in the game stacks, scrolls and books of combat do not. It seems like they created the book of combat by copy + pasting the effect from the loyalty scroll. So the only purpose of combat scrolls is if you don't have a combat book running.
@@MorrolanTV i did the whole container method to arti 2 having enough scrolls for all of it along the way, but i didnt think they stacked x.x that coulda saved me a good 3+ hours..
does the distance also increase the EXP per crate turn in, or is the distance only for the extra silver buff?

Does it not worth investing in the Vanadium/Titanium nodes at northeast Valencia around the volcano for trading? The crates seem to have a good price, but how do you benefit from the distance bonus? And without trading, those nodes are pretty worthless.
The nodes are unfortunately terrible, not because the materials are bad, but because they cost too much CP and the yields are very low. You get like 5 titanium from a cycle that is already slow & expensive

for a new player to level trading to from nothing to artisan 2 for desert buff, i advise 3 options...
1. (slow & EXPENSIVE)afk: old wisdom junk crates working out of calpheon! just 2 papu workers. instant access to these! one +3 ore and one +3 timber! cheapest/fastest to set up and get working.
2. (fast, free) semi-active (afk a few minutes between interaction): auto-pathing 4 horse wagon, buy/sell npc goods. route : olvia>wgc>velia>heidel>glish< do this while binging tv shows or something.
3. (fastest, cheap) active: (no afk at all) elephant instead of wagon. no auto-path.

distance is very important for exp - but you can't use the A2 buff in arehaza so Valencia is the ONLY option for plywood/ingot crates or else you lose a ton of money
Yeah don't worry was only wondering about it for my trash crates. Guess I'll take the small hit money wise for the higher exp gain - it'll be worth it in the long term. Thanks for the clarification.
I wouldn't continue to make trash crates beyond Artisan 2, if that's what you're asking. It's a bit difficult to explain, but basically the money you lose on the trash crates doesn't recover from the extra trade bonus on your money crates, since the money crates will be leveling you up anyways and take less of a "hit" to do so
Are you living in grana? I've been considering there but the cp/storage is terrible
I use Calpheon as a processing hub since it has the best shipping, but I make use of the storage in just about every city for one reason or another.
Would I make money trading crates going from Trent to altinova?
It might be possible on a newer server, but on NA/EU it's impossible to make any money from crates unless you are turning them in to Valencia City
When I turn In my crates in Valencia I only get 0.5% in pro2 for 200 crates, everything is connected, idk why..
I did move my crates via transport to the inner harbor that's close to Valencia instead of walking my horse all the way there
Do i get the 150,000 silver per cp only with value pack?
Yes, to my understanding the silver per cp assumes you are selling your mats straight to the market, without value pack you are losing 30% of the silver.

Is it possible to get more than 100 million silver by trading crates? I think saw something like there is limit to how much money you get while trading crate and which is 100 million silver. I am not really sure if that is the case. Can someone clarify it for me please. Thank you!

So how much is the difference between m2 trading and putting the mats on the market place?
Use www.somethinglovely.net/bdo/crates to find the profit of a crate, subtract black stone powder, and then compare that to the sale price of your materials multipled by .845 if you have value pack
But this is basically the analysis that I've done in part 2. I've averaged the difference from the plywood/ingot crates and turned it into an average silver/hour bonus on your processing based on the player turning their materials into crates and trading the crates in Val with artisan 2

It still depends on the amount of processing you're doing but it's certainly more likely to be necessary than it would be if you could sell your mats with a VP.

trading sucks ass, i went all the way to sand grain and my items were selling for 30%.
If your nodes are not connected... It depreciates your crates' value to 30% if you still wonder why.
DO NOT DO TRADE CRATES. DO NOT DO TRADE CRATES. DO NOT DO TRADE CRATES. You will regret it if you even start doing it lol. Waste of time and silver.
hey morro, why is it more profitable once you are artisan 2, to sell the crates in valencia? the buff gives you more money if it is closer? i mean arehaza is a bit away so it would mean more buff from distance. thanks :D
You can't use the Artisan 2 buff in Arehaza, only Valencia
