I love the butterfly wing piece. I have a few pieces with wing but I love that it’s so simple to showcase the wing.
I have a weakness for butterfly wing pieces! They are some of my favorites. ❤️
Persiаn brooch ( MOP)
The mother of pearl painted brooch actually reminds me of Russian or Eastern European brooch.
I’m so happy you loved everything Lauren. I thought you might enjoy the glasses to use for display 😊 I actually have a pair with my prescription, for days I love to dress vintage ❤
Deer and earrings
Would love them both
1st time seen this Chanel so many interesting things
I was so excited to come across this video !!! I love the two blue butterfly brooches, the blk morning brooch, the carved bone necklace, coral necklace & the blue glass necklace, slim jewelry velvet box & bigger blue jewelry box & the two glass brooches !!! Everything is very beautiful !!! ❤️🙂
Thank you so much!! Appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
The black glass beads (item #2) could be French jet, not Whitby jet at all but a particular process of making glass in layers, usually Victorian. Walsall and Wolverhampton are in the English county of Staffordshire, West Midlands.
Thank you! Yes - those beads may be French jet. I’m not totally sure how to tell the difference between French jet and regular glass- but that is something for me to research! Thank you for watching! ❤️
Dana has the most beautiful antique jewelry. I plan to buy from her in the near future. ....I regret selling my morpho pin (it was my grandmothers)
The mourning locket was gorgeous. I really have to check out some of my local antique stores.
Sterling from Mexico is very popular now, especially Taxco
She really does!! I love seeing what Dana picks up. She knows her stuff. 🙂 Treasure hunting at antique stores is really a lot of fun. Thanks for watching! ❤️
Everything is lovely but the Butterfly wing jewelry are the only ones I'd wear, especially the bar brooch. I do love the blue milifiori but would restring them.
I used to wear round glasses like that, though not gold, I also had hexagonal ones.
I wish manufacturers would make glasses with the flexible ear wires.
Thank you! I will admit those flexible ear wires do seem like they would be more comfortable. The butterfly pieces are some of my favorite too. Thanks for watching! ❤️
My favorite was the little girl in the jet drop. Most tasteful was the deer. Thank you for showing your jewelry. The dyed coral was third runner up. Most greatful.😅
Thank you! I love that painted portrait piece too. Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
There were sooo many beautiful pieces- the mourning locket- it was sooo gorgeous and then you opened it- I gasped! The carnelian necklace, the painted pieces I love and the butterfly 🦋 pieces- just lovely- oh and the Mexican silver- you sure have an eye! What a collection you have and are going to have! I could kick myself in the ass for not doing this the last 40 years- just think what I could have 😑
Thank you so much!! Yes- the mourning locket and the carnelian necklace were very exciting finds! I also wish I had known more about antique/collectible jewelry in the past- I am sure I have passed up so many awesome pieces because I didn’t know what I was looking at. But I guess that is all part of learning! 🙂 Thanks for watching! ❤️
Love the cherub pieces and the jet mourning pieces. Lovely video thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Lauren, It is so good to see you again. I loved the antique mourning brooch and the picture locket with the bride and child photo. You have lovely taste in jewelry. I also liked the butterfly wing pieces. I liked the hand painted portrait. I have collected some hand painted portrait brooches also. I think they are lovely. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Regina! ❤️ Hand painted portrait brooches are something I have recently fallen in love with. They really are lovely. Thank you for watching!
I especially love the jet mourning piece with the pained portrait and the carnelian necklace. Wonderful selection of items!! thank you for sharing your finds with us.
Those are some of my favs too. Thank you for watching! ❤️
17:35 is the West Midlands 😊 my husband’s family is from there originally.
How cool- small world! That is fun to know exactly where that little box came from. ❤
The carnelian necklace is absolutely stunning ❤ . Fantastic buy 😃❤️❤️
Thanks Kiersten! I didn’t know exactly what it was when I bought it - ha but I did know that I loved it! ❤️
I believe that the mother of pearl painted brooch is Russian. The clothing, the tent in the background and the musical instrument all look Russian
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
❤ the deer
German silver is often 800 the purse could be 800. Inwould test to make sure.
Ooh I did not know that! I will definitely test. Thank you! ❤️
Such beautiful finds! I must say, the glass locket with the photo of the bride has stolen my heart 😍
Thank you! I absolutely adore that locket. She is so beautiful! Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️
Mourning locket and kingfisher my favs
I really love those ones too. Thank you for watching! ❤
I love the silver Mexican necklace! I also love that blue glass bead necklace, it is very sweet looking.
I think so too! The Mexico silver necklace has such a nice design. Thank you. ❤️
13:17 are likely 1960’s
The first one you showed was so beautiful wow and then it’s a locket curved beautiful thickness and material and then it’s carved. Wow just something that you wouldn’t see made in the last 40 years right just beautiful.
21:44 I’m getting sister rings, that’s beautiful stone I think it’s like old antique turquoise with the gold Flecks. I wonder how much it would cost to make him into rings the cufflinks?
Whats a mourning locket?
Hello- Mourning jewelry is memorial jewelry worn in remembrance of a loved one. It was popular in Victorian jewlery. A Mourning locket has a compartment that can hold photos, hair or other items. Thanks for watching!
all lovely!! thanks for sharing..
Thanks for watching! ❤❤
Anyone know how to test for black BakeLite? Semicrome Doesn’t work well.
Antiques
8:00 that might be my favorite thing. It’s carnelian stones and filigree?
7:53 is Italian Filagree ❤ Art Deco
Thank you!! I thought it might be special but did not know it was Italian. ❤❤

Stunning jewelry! ❤❤
Thank you! 😊
5:55 the bird in the moonlight overlooking the water… ah great artwork.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pieces. I really love the mourning brooch and the celluloid brooch, but any of these pieces would be at home in my collection! I like the deer brooch, of course!
Thank you so much! That little deer brooch is so sweet- I do love him. ❤❤
All really lovely pieces- you have such a great eye for things! Dana is so thoughtful and really knows how to pick just the right gifts! That carnelian necklace is amazing, the craftsmanship is just *chefs kiss*, probably my favorite piece too. I believe the painted mother of Pearl is Persian circa 30s. The painted cherub is adorable, reminds me of Precious Moments. Thanks for sharing, I always love seeing what you find!
Thank you!! Agreed on the carnelian necklace - It’s so beautiful. Definitely a favorite. ❤️
Totally agree - the painted mother of pearl brooch has Persian origin. It's an old Persian tradition to paint life scenes on the mother of pearl jewellery items.
12:03 those are MY signs! Goat 🐐 love ❤
