39:26 I loved your episode regarding walking. It got my butt motivated and I have now walked 4 miles every day for the last six weeks. I am turning 60 in November & I haven’t had this much energy since I was in my early 30’s. I cannot imagine a day without walking now & I really owe it all to Mel for motivating me! Thank you!
Hi Mel. I’m 58 and just retired from my employer of 31.8 years. I primarily made the decision based on the stress in my work life - even though I practice daily exercise, good sleep and meditation. Thanks for reinforcing my decision. ❤
Why do doctors not tell us these things, when we go in with health issues? I'm only 13 min's in to the podcast, and realizing I have never breathed correctly!!! Wow, thank you Patrick McKuen for explaining, and for a greater understanding, as to, the "Why?" Incredible!!! This knowledge will change people's lives! Thank you, Thank you!!! 🙏 ❤
I’m 70. I just started having some health problems last year. It started a few years ago but got more serious last year. I want to be healthy and get my strength back.
Today I found this youtube channel .This is so wow 🎉 I'm still 19 years old and i'm so glad i found this channel .Thank you so much Mrs.Mel Robbins ❤🥰 I hope this channel would be very helpful for me 😍
Hi Mel! So often throughout the week, I watch your podcast, and have learned so much. I thank you for that! You're a true inspiration, to us all!! Personally from my own experience, I believe Dr. Sangwa is correct 💯 % when she stated, "Stress causes or exasperates 80% of all illness." She is, spot-on! It's an epidemic! Unfortunately, just like the response she received from many of her colleagues, most don't care. The statistics and results of stress are mind-blowing! The truth is, you have to be your own advocate, your own doctor, because no one will care as much as you do about your health, and well-being - as you. Thank you, Mel Robbins for all you do, to reach out to the world. For educating us, with your intelligent, and wonderful guests who help increase our wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of our human design. Blessings to you, and your family... 💜
I miss my walking. I got real sick with mold illness which is an ignored illness basically. But I am slowly getting back to walking a bit. Times I wish I had a dog. I did find me a walking stick.. so no excuses really. I was always a mouth breather I had to teach myself to breathe more through my nose. Use to always be clogged due to allergies plus I still smoke. Excuses , plus depression.. each day is a new- though
Hi @SherryTomlinson how did you become sick with mold illness? What are the symptoms?; I have mold in my home. Also have depression and anxiety and it is a fight. Congratulations on how far you've come!!! 💜
@@Catherine-gt3cr sores a very odd sore on my back hard and sticky, sinus pain, loss of memory, high blood pressure, bone problems, hair loss, parasites, nerve damage and I healed being with a mold exposure group on line. Mold can mimic disease too. Look up mycotoxins something you can’t play around with- ringing in ears too
Hi Mel, this is by far one of my favorite episodes. Thank you! Stress = early death and unhappy life. The 5 questions she asked brought me to tears...wow!
--=WOWSERS! Totally stressed Mid=lifer here with a teen son. This video was a real eye opener for me. Thank you for sharing and always making me aware of things I take for granted. You have an incredible show/podcast and I listen to them often. Thanks for your dedication, hard work and time you spend to share and help others.
Mel, I support you because YOU SUPPORT US! WE all love you classy lady❤ sisters in the future! ❤ I’m 62 and listen to you & Dr. Mindy & Lisa from Peaches skincare and you all feel like my Sisters in my new family. ❤
Dear Mel - I appreciate you so much . I have been watching you since the Rona . I would not have made it if I didn’t come across you . I could write a book of how you have impacted my life and have given me tools to help myself - incrementally . Thank you for your transparency . I Lu sooooo much . Omg is that a heart on your shirt ?! I love that ! Where can I get one :). When I take a walk w my daughter who is 25 - we walk in the park and look for hearts - being playful and intentional have been impactful . You da best !!!!!!❤️
This is really great stuff. The one thing I have finally learned and have come to accept now is myself.Being comfortable in my own skin.Changing myself constantly for watchful eyes that are not subject to the same scenario has only led me to burnout and depression in the past.I really liked your show on Let them.Thank you.
A Big thank you for this three vital things, breathing, walking & sleeping plus stress reduction which one should practice to lead a healthy life....❤❤❤
Brilliant episode listened on my walk and am now breathing through my nose, thought I couldn’t do it and didn’t like it at the start but 15 minutes into it my nose cleared, now I just need to keep on remembering to do it ❤😊
Hi Mel. Im from Malaysia and subscribed to you a month ago. Every day to work, you the first i listen too while driving… loveeee all the podcast and msgs .
Amazing episode with profound insight. This definitely challenged me to take better care of myself. I am planning to get more steps in and do better to get higher quality sleep. I hope to be able to be consistent and stick with it.
Good morning from South Florida. Great episode and as always it registered in my thick brain because it was logical/ research-based. Thank you 😊 Have a wonderful day!
Your husband walking through the golf course! 😅 My husband and I drive 20 minutes to the nice HOA (with a golf course) to walk our dogs since we don't have a safe place to walk by our home. We were nervous that we would be asked to leave, but it's never been a problem. "It's a walking thing!"
Wow! The decongesting exercise really DOES work! Like Mel, I've been having issues with my allergies lately. Loved hearing his Irish accent! I *almost* prefer it vs. British. LOL.
I love walking golf courses! No one has ever told me “You can’t be here.” You just have to make sure to stay out of the way of the golfers. If you stay out of their way they’ll stay out of yours.
Omw!! I thought I heard him say incorrect breathing can cause the body to stay in a fight or flight mode!! That means all my life!! 😱 that cud be the answer to a lot of questions!! Tytyty mel.
Dr Richard Brown..Great videos on Coherence breathing and author of Breath James Nestor... These are great go to authorities on breathing and breath work 👍
I would like to know about sleep regarding night owls, shift workers and those w sleep disorders such as sleep apnea. Not everyone wakes up w the sun, or sleeps all night without interruption. So much was not discussed regarding sleep complications experienced by much of the population.
I agree 100%, sadly what about people like me who have painful arthrosis and every step I feel intense back and leg pain . I’ve been trying to adapt to this chronic pain but with lack of sleep and continuous pain I don’t see how I can do this ???
Great info! I walk about 15000 steps a day with my dog, and that is about 10 km./day. I have a watch that tracks every step I take, and it's so fun. :-)
How to simplify your phone? Get a flip phone. I have one. It's great. I don't even text and ask people not to text me. Simplify your phone. It makes things SO Much easier and less stressful.
So we're all doing these exercises? does it feel like it's more work though? or like we aren't getting alot of air?? especially because we're not used to it. It will be an interesting progress as I put nose breathing to work consciously until it becomes unconscious.
Please think to have a spanish version of Mel robbins. Certain like Lewis Howes and Evan Carmichael. You information help million of people down the world
13:53 Hi Mel, I’ve been trying the breathing exercises all day. While I do instantly feel more relaxed, mid way through they keep throwing me into multiple yawning episodes, forcing me to restart mouth breathing. Is something wrong with me? 😂
Would love some information on how to do this breathing through mouth while sleeping - if you are mouth breather how can this be accomplished. Causing snoring 🙃
I'm a huge advocate for walking too. However I don't think we can compare city folk with village folk and say the reason why the latter don't have chronic diseases is because of walking. There are too many variables. They don't have McDonald's and Starbucks on every corner. Other than that great podcast!
The Doc om walking 28:55 didn't really give us THE SCIENTOLOGY of walking, he used a lot of studies but MEL kept strategically and POLITELY asking for the scientific breakdown, and he still could NOT get there. THANKS anyway. Great day!
Good morning Mel from Idaho. If no one has told you yet this morning, I love you and I believe in you and your ability to reset when you choose ❤
Agreed. This is correct. Would like to thank you for your comment.
Mel Robbins!!!! You raise me up every SINGLE time I fall low. You are my go to and it works! Every SINGLE time. Thank you for being there. X❤

So should we be walking at a good clip like exercise walking or does regular walking or strolling while talking with the friend count as well?

I want to know why if you have CV you can't do this exercise? OR can I modify because I have CAD and PAD, I did it not moving my head that much.
