Williams managed to convince Lucas to let him make some modifications to it though, so it's not exactly the same.

You can march to 5/4, just like you can march to 3/4. Every measure starts out on alternate feet. If the whole band steps off on the left foot, it would go L-R-L-R-L, R-L-R-L-R, L-R-L-R-L, R-L-R-L-R. I'd be surprised if there weren't lots of marching bands and drum and bugle corps who have done this piece in their shows.

Fun fact : mars, the bringer of war was written in mid 1914, so mars literally brought war upon europe while Gustav Holst was composing it.
His death throes reminded me the first black and white movies: when somebody died; they hogged the camera as long as possible!
