Havent played in 5 years but iirc i used to farm Arrapago Remnants II. id have no clue how to unlock each gear piece/progress through each floor without re learning via a guide now as forgotten. I wpuldnt even know which entrance to take anymore :( i needed qbout 20k alex when i left
There must have been a change to Silver Sea 2 between this guide and now. The drvergr's rampart on the 4th floor doesn't seem exist on widescan until you open the door, and start the 3 minute timer. Meaning you can safely farm all of the 4th floor for the extra Alex it drops, which w/ Acrolith luck can add up very quickly.
@@Jarhead402011 Acroliths can randomly spawn instead of Chariots, and have a chance to drop cotton pouches (5-15 alex) instead of the usual 1 that a chariot drops.
@@ryuailthis isn’t random. The acroliths are spawned by linking the mirrors instead of aggroing them. So if you place an enemy between you and the mirrors while the mirror is “closed’ when the mirror “opens” acroliths will spawn instead of chariots.
So that's what you have to do: You have to spawn that regular boss within three minutes for the mega boss to spawn on the last floor. That's what I've been doing wrong. Thanks.

Hard to believe. Are u sure it didn't hit you in ws gear or the like? I did it a lot and got some kills aswell, but 2k seems way too much for your DT- and MDT/MagicEva amount
2?! Even if no single alex pieces dropped along the way from the few gear kills on floor 3, the linen pouch from the final boss alone has a minimum of 50 alex and its a guaranteed drop
@@TheMogHouse i went back and practiced, what i did wrong was one shot the ramp with the first dvergr, my 3rd run the dvergr and the MB both dropped linen pouches. i like the run, tyvm
What is your PC setup and is your ffxi running on gpu or integrated ? It looks fluid way more than mine...i can't get my pc to run it on gpu instead of the IGC. Windows 10....go figure
Windower and Ashita both have plugins that allow you to set frame rate to 30, 60 or uncapped. 60fps makes the game look nice for me. My Pc is nothing crazy, GTX970, i5 processor.

I wish/hope you could come out with some lower level videos as I haven't even made it yet to this point, and I'm struggling trying to find helpful videos online like on how to complete the Promyvean quests, my RDM is level 89 and I'm still getting raped by those fucking Idle Wanderers >< lol
@@Delmania01 what ever works best for you. I go wherever I can get in and out fastest. These days I run SSR2 on blu in about 10 mins but not tried BR2 in a while for comparison
Nevermind. i upgraded some of my gear and I didn't have any real problem. I don't do nearly as much damage with you with my base 119 Aftermath Mandau, but it's a steady pace. :)
With Alex being the only reason to do salvage now, if they capped it to 75 I doubt anyone would do it. I wouldn't mind a version 3 of salvage with new gear etc. With a high difficulty aimed at full parties, but I doubt they'll ever add it
A number of things in 11 locked out either on the game day, or the earth day; game day's only a little less than an hour, so something being doable every game day is nice.
God XI has really gone to the gutter, it was bad when the level cap went up but every video I see these days is just depressing. I miss the glory days of this game. great video but damn... What a shame about this once amazing team dependant game...
Obviously I'm still loving the game, but it is a completely different experience now than what it was back in the day. And while there is plenty of stuff that requires groups and rewards teaming up - there is also a vast amount you can get done by yourself. I do miss that "community" feel that some of our old linkshells had - but I'm quite content all these years later to still be playing and having fun :)
@FinalEvilElpis I don't play anymore but for many years I did, practically from the start of EU PC launch all the way until Abyssea. The game was at its prime during the 75 cap era and rapidly went downhill after that. I have no doubt it still appeals to many but it's a dull shade of its former glory.
@FinalEvilElpisYes, of course, it's my opinion, I DID play, I don't like the game as it is now if you like it that's great. It was obvious I don't play ANYMORE from my comments. Not playing doesn't invalidate what I think of the game as the different path the game's development took was the reason I stopped playing.

@FinalEvilElpis me not liking the game any more because I don't like it isn't false, it's how I feel about the game. You liking the game as it stands is your opinion. The servers are still up so the game is still successful for the people that enjoy it and that's OK.

ilvl gear is a broad term. Ilvl 119 bliz 5 would tickle. ilvl 103 for example it would hurt

In the lvl 99 versions of salvage you dont get cells, restrictions are lifted automatically when defeating enemies

Average linen pouch is around 75, plus a few singles

It looks like characters can move faster now, I don’t remember being able to run that fast.
They did increase standard movement speed a while ago but I also have 18% movespeed boots

This event should be capped to level 75 like back in the days with a lvl 99 it's a joke
